Absolutely terrific! I have always wanted to try Ethiopian cuisine but was a bit intimidated. Luckily, Addis’ staff made me feel right at home. Blaze was my server and he was so patient as he explained each dish and how to eat it! Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back.

Looking for something I can’t have as I’m coming back from the airport, I came here on a suggestion from local friends. There’s no Ethiopian anywhere near my hometown, so this is a break from the everyday. This is a large restaurant with plenty of large group seating, as Ethiopian is a more communal experience. The inside is well decorated and stands in contrast with some of the area surrounding it. After arriving about an hour before they closed, we were seated immediately and given menus. The service was awkward for lack of a better term. Not sure if the person was just young and/or inexperienced but the service was off. It took almost 15min to get our drinks, which as the bartender wasn’t their fault, but they were absent the entirety of that time. We could’ve used more water or asked questions about the menu. When we got our beverages they took our order, but again didn’t check back until our food arrived. We ordered the Sambusa( beef and lentil)veggie combo. The Sambusa is basically a deep fried dumpling, similar to samosas. The food was phenomenal. The veggie platter had an excellent variety of flavors. Maybe it’s something ‘new’ and exciting(not really, I’ve had Ethiopian before) or I was hungry, but everything was on point. Again the service wasn’t exemplary, as they were absent the majority of our meal, except a 20min span when they asked for refills twice. Ended the night having issues getting the bill to pay and leave. I don’t want to make it seem like the server was intentionally rude or lazy, I was expecting better given the venue. I’m going to come back, the food was just too damn good, and the interior is very pleasant. Just hoping they work out some of their service issues.

If you reserve online, make sure you click on the REQUEST LINK in the first “confirmation email”…. I thought I made a reservation online and didn’t bother reading through the REQUEST confirmation email but turns out I didn’t follow all the steps. When we showed up at 7pm for our reservation the next day, the entire restaurant was empty except for 2-3 tables… and we were told everything was booked for the entire night. We decided to eat at the bar which was fine, but this did take away from the experience. Mushroom tibs is a favorite at any Ethiopian place that I try, and Addi’s definitely steps up to the plate! Also got the veg platter, everything was a hit. Tried the coconut water cocktail for $20, which was made from a fresh coconut. The Denizen rum used was a highlight but I’m not sure if I’d get this again. Clean bathrooms, open layout and service was otherwise great.

I’ve been here several times but this was my absolute favorite. I totally enjoy the vibe. We had a beautiful waitress. She left us in the hands of the amazing BLAZE! He was THE BEST!!! The food was amazing, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing. I look forward to our next experience.

Gorgeous atmosphere. See if you can sit in one of the red booths. Excellent and friendly service. Delicious food. My first time having Ethiopian and the server was very helpful explaining what everything was and how to eat it. Save room for the super soft and flavorful bread pudding.

I had the immense pleasure of experiencing Addis Nola with my colleagues, a couple of nights prior to this review. Not only was the food out of this world – I should mention that Ethiopian is one of my favorite cuisines – but Robert’s service was IMPECCABLE! I love when I come into an establishment and feel like family more than a customer.

This restaurant has service and food! I was in the area and decided to stop. They were open for Mardi Gras but wasn’t serving the general public. Prince was nice enough to allow me to order anyway. They normally open at 5pm.

Eat outside. It’s a whole vibe! I loved it. They have great vegan options as well. All of the sides are vegan. Try the veggie platter. I had the yellow split peas and red lentils in this photo The red lentils are nice and spicy
