I went to this restaurant on 8/14 there were 2 customers dining in. I waited about 6min b4 someone noticed I was there the young man was pleasant when taking my order.I ordered the okra soup with chicken & fufu & ordered a extra fufu. I got to my car & opened up my food it was a very small portion of okra soup with 2 little drum sticks. when I tasted the chicken it was hard & the okra soup tasted funky like everything was old.I paid $24 for food that was not good

We loooove the meat pies. The jollof rice and plantains are nice and we recently discovered we love the yam porrige (spicy and suprisingly not runny).

That place is a mess (pink chairs and plastic flowers). They served me, my wife, and our children expensive LEFTOVER food. The meat was TASTELESS, and HARD AS A ROCK! The small portion rice smelled like it was burnt. To make matters worse, the utensils were as dirty as the tables. My first time eating African food was a DISASTER, to say the least!!

I was in Woodbridge, NJ recently for a program. On a second thought, I chose to browse a nearby Nija restaurant for a Treat and Adebola brand came up as the closest. For those that know me, I am the finicky type and hard to please when it comes to our local delicacies. Here is the thing, from the phone calls to the visit(s), Egbon and Aunty were on point with an impeccable ambience and customer service, great value for money, all in a nice location( the great Woodbridge Mall). A visit will convince you!!! A shout out to their daughter, Eniola, for her fantastic support. I will return shortly! May God continue to enlarge your coasts. Amen

Worst african food ever! Before I start this review let me add that I am a Nigerian woman born and raised! so I know what authentic african good tastes like. I went to the resturaunt 1/19/2022. I ordered jellof rice, plantains, and fish, my order was $22. I asked was the plantains soft and sweet, the cashier said “yes ma’am” I inquired about the jellof rice the cashier told me it was cooked well. Once I got my food I noticed that it was all placed in a small compacted BOWL! a $10 bowl. 2 of the smallest pieces of fish I’ve ever seen, the plantain was salty! Very salty! Not sweet and soft at all. The jellof rice was horrible! No real season NO MAGGIE, it lacked flavor, it lacked everything l! I called the resturaubt and told the manager I was dissapointed and he dismissed me. The picture shown is the food I ended up throwing out! Total waste of $22

I really enjoyed eating at this place! Authentic Nigerian food. I don’t eat amala, but this was the first time I loved it for real. All the times I’ve been here, the service and the food were both magical. Would be visiting here again no doubt!
