YOU GUYS, ADELS IS BACK!!!! This place is hands down thee best, there’s not a bad item on the menu, my personal favorite is the spicy gyro. Also, Adel and family are the kindest, sweetest people. I am so excited to see this gem back in action, I’ll be back soon!

Good things come to those who wait. No joke… always good, and sometimes a little slow, so don’t come in a hurry, and then complain abt it later. Good people and delicious food! Best around for sure!!!! So happy, they are back open!!

My first time in Indianapolis and I wanted more than fast food for dinner. I googled restaurants near my hotel and found Adel’s Gyros. The reviews were good so I decided to give them a try. I have to give myself a pat on the back, because it was a good decision. I ordered the Beef Shish Kebab Meal with rice, green beans with a slight kick and a Greek Side Salad. And for dessert, what else but a small slice of Baklava. I enjoyed every bite of the main entree and dessert. The food was Delicious. The husband and wife that own Adel’s Gyros are warm, friendly and greet you with a smile. Looking forward to going back to and next time I’ll try the Lamb.

Ventured into Adel’s place on a cold Friday night. At the time, we were the only ones in the place. Several people did come in for carry-out and another group are in as well. The owner is extremely friendly and we had a great conversation with with while we were there. My Gyro was excellent and very large. My wife’s full course meal was huge and she took half of it home. She really enjoyed the green beans and the chicken. Though she did mention it was a bit dry for her taste (probably because we were talking with the owner too long and distracted him). He also has a somewhat interesting beer selection and some wine as well. He was about to open another side of his restaurant to add a piano player and some belly dancing too. So, if you’re tired of the chain restaurants, give Adel’s a try.

The couple running this place are friendly as can be and act like they’ve known you forever! It looks like they love what they do, and it is reflected in the little restaurant they run.

Recently moved from Chicago and have been craving a gyro. This place hits every part of the experience perfectly. Outside seats, booths, evening dinners, beers, and the food is great. Couldn’t be happier and will be back for dinner soon.
