First time coming here because he was craving some Nigerian food and it definitely hit the spot. He ordered stew, beef, and Fufu. The menu is large for whatever you have a taste for. I was immediately impressed with the Vegan/Vegetarian menu and how large the selection was since it’s hard to go places and find menus that cater to us. I chose the tofu peppered soup. I also ordered a Hibiscus ginger drink and it’s so yummy!!! Definitely coming back to try the Curry Tofu.

Good food takes time to be prepared. I came here first time in LA to try Egusi soup. Yes, I did wait 60 min but I was expecting the wait. So I just walked over a block to a nail spa.

Please do not patronize this so called restaurant and read other poor reviews. The owner/Chef Aduke is absolutely horrible, rude, and has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I contracted her for my wedding and also visited her restaurant before my wedding to try the food. The jollof rice was old and hard and not fresh. I actually had stomach problems after eating the food. We waited an hour to speak with her and again was met with poor customer service and rudeness. Chef Aduke is not respectful or responsible business person. She does not take responsibility for her staff or her mistakes. We paid thousands of dollars to contract her for a wedding and the food was less than stellar. Food packaging was sloppy and guests complained. Chef Aduke also is very rude and does not follow her contracts and hangs up on her customers when she has been paid and not delivered her service that was in contract. I paid her to have staff work at my wedding to serve her food and that staff was no where to be found and stated he was in the kitchen sitting down. Overall please be ware of this so called chef she will have you stressed and hungry if you contract her for any major event or even if you go to her restaurant for small bites. I would NEVER recommend her and please avoid going here and save your self stomach pains and headaches.

Would have loved to be able to give this place a decent review since the food was good (if overpriced) but the lady at the front was beyond rude to our NIGERIAN friend, which is especially confusing at a NIGERIAN restaurant. She would not look at him while addressing the rest of us, and as we were leaving finally addressed him directly and said “I already know YOU are going to leave a bad review”, which he politey laughed off (since he is a nice person) and kindly said that he liked the food. Well, you expected a bad review, and you’ve got it because I don’t appreciate how my friend was so coldly disrespected and treated harshly. It is NOT okay to expect that just because he is an immigrant like yourself that you can treat him as if he’s your kid. Leave that attitude for people you’re close to, not strangers who just wanted to enjoy lunch together.

I love my Nigerian good but meh this was on another level of poor. Menu is so full but most items was unavailable with no expect date of availability. Service was slow, card reader wasn’t working. Servers don’t appear welcoming and they serve those they know first. I bought poundo yam and vegetable soup but the taste was flat just full of palm oil and vegetables. Location appear decent but unorganized. Chairs all over the place and counter was rowdy. Cooks don’t appear to use hand gloves or aprons. I met some latinx who came to try Nigerian food for the first time. I wonder what they feel about it. I wish there will be an improvement across board. One star is generous. They need dramatic improvement.

Stale jollof rice and very salty. It was hard to chew. Seemed like they tried to warm up a cold jollof rice. The goat meat tasted like it was ready to get spoilt. We ended up not eating it. Ask them if the food is fresh before you buy

Unfortunately my eating experience here was not a good one. I ordered the Egusi stew, Red stew, and a side of rice. The Egusi stew was fine and just that. It lacked flavor. The red stew was absolutely disgusting and tasted like spoiled tomatoes were used. The rice has a chemical-like aftertaste like it was microwaved and my fufu had two hard lumps inside. Upon arriving to the restaurant I seen a young child maybe of the age of 8 in the kitchen and there were children running around. I dont mind kids at all but it seemed extremely unprofessional. When I called the manager immediately dismissed my concern about the Red stew. I ended up just throwing away my food all together which is really disappointing. I hope they add a little bit of structure in their kitchen and consistency/balance within their entrees.
