The restaurant was very clean and spacious. The service was amazing. It was my first time trying out this spot because I live out of town. They were very friendly, well spoken, and professional. I had the double plate with the chicken and beef kabobs and I ordered the lamb stew. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and so flavorful. I actually can’t wait to return to Concord just for this restaurant.

A big Halal sign is posted and even there is a small musalah inside the restaurant. The food is great though and as we want extra spicy so they provided extra spicy handmade sauce. We tried chapli/shami platter and the kabob were juicy and tasty. Dining area is enough for a family. Parking is shared in a small marketplace area. The guy there (probably the owner) was super kind and faithful. Definitely worth a try and support the business.

The use of fresh herbs and locally sourced ingredients is a testament to the authenticity and love that goes into each dish. The way Afghan cuisine pays homage to its cultural heritage while embracing influences from neighboring regions is both admirable and palate-pleasing. It’s a cuisine that’s not afraid to be bold, with spices that invigorate your senses without overwhelming your taste buds.

I’ve never had afghani food before. I was thoroughly thoroughly impressed with how flavorful and perfectly seasoned everything was. I got some eggplant dish with tomatoes that was covered in seasonings and yogurt sauce and some stewed lamb. The lamb dish still had the bones with its marrow simmering with the rest of the meat – which is just beautiful thing. The naan bread was very distinct – not like what you would find at all at a Indian or Pakistani restaurant. It’s its own deal. Overall very flavorful, delicious and unique. The eggplant dish was phenomenal as well.

Absolutely tasty food! I tried shami(koobideh) kabob and Chapli kabob. Shami Kabob which called Koobideh Kabab in Persian cuisines was great! Juicy and tasty, well cooked and absolutely delicious, in other side it was my first time that I tried Chapli kabab and I do like this one, it is spicy but not crazy and I like veggie taste that Chapli kabob has! Very friendly staff! I became big fan of this restaurant!

This is a secret place waiting to be discovered, it is like a hidden gem. Authentic afghan food is served here. I tried narunj pilav, it was a unique taste, lamb was well done, slow cooked with bone. Thats how it should be. The shami was amazing and the chicken was so tasty. I will come here on a regular basis.
