The customer service was not good. Blonde hair short cut server was the only one working all the tables. Egusi had 3 pieces of undercooked tough meat and my friend got the lamb it was terrible tough and unchewable! The server bust out laughing as we complained about the food. She went and got the cook who was about 6’7 and she continued to laugh while we spoke with him. By this time I’m afraid she was kinda taunting him it seemed. Long story short the service was garbage overpriced drinks.. $7 for a Corona and $5 for a ginger beer soda! The meat chewed like a tire off my challenger. I don’t recommend this establishment unless the food is ordered for a teething puppy!

My husband had the red snapper fish with Jollof rice. He liked it. I Will try something different next time. Took forever to get the food about an hour. She said they cook it fresh. It went from 15 minutes to an hour. Lots of confusion from the kitchen. Orders were coming out not in order. Just prepare to wait even if you order over the phone.

I order Egusi Soup and it was terrible. It had too much palm oil and no taste . I ordered rice instead of fufu and some of the rice was crunchy and soft. The lady with the short boy cut, needs to work on her customer service skills, she has a really bad attitude towards customers and workers. I will not be back and I do not recommend going here for African food . This is one of the worst spots and too pricey to be nasty . Worst spot in Riverdale!
