Run don’t walk to this restaurant. I feel like it is a hidden gem that not enough people talk about! My husband and I stopped in for dinner last night and every.single.thing was amazing!! Expensive and overly sweet margaritas. Who use Cuervo as a mid shelf? Yay Caramel color! Guac was good but the burritos were full of reheated overcooked meat and a bland attempt at rice. The flavorless toothpaste like beans were a disgrace! 2 adults and 1 child. 1 margarita at $78?? Much better Mexican in town for 30-40% less. Server was nice and attentive.

Have you ever eaten cactus before? What about fresh, hand made corn tortillas? Head on over to Agave and you will not be disappointed! I had the bacon wrapped jalapenos (excellent!) and the Molcajete. Both were off the chart delicious. Agave gets my vote for the best Mexican restaurant in the Burg. I just got back from a Tucson trip and Agave is as good as being there!

This is a nice little place in downtown fredericksburg. Obviously this is a Mexican restaurant and we purchase the fajitas with shrimp and split them between us. Overall the food taste was very good but it is a bit pricey. At least in comparison to other local Mexican restaurants for this area. They do have a nice little bar and they have a small happy hour although it’s not a big price drop and no food as part of it.

A great little find. Big margaritas and tasty Mexican food. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and our tacos were delicious. The guacamole was a favourite, and if we were in town longer we would definitely have returned.

The food here was fantastic. We got decent value for our money. The food was freshly cooked, hot and the turn around time was fast. Our server was very welcoming and got to us quickly.
