My first and last time going. I don’t want to sound mean but I’m honest. The slad bar was hot, My steak was 90% fat and nowhere near cooked to how I wanted it. My girlfriends steak was also butchered and not cooked correctly. kitchen staff needs an overhaul. There may be alot better items on the menu but I’m gonna pass it up I’m sorry..

Our waitress was Ms. Beverly and we never needed anything to drink. She ran her legs off making sure our glasses were full. She was the most precious waitress we have had. She recommended the salad bar with fresh sliced cantaloupe as one of my sides because I could not make the decision on my own. The salad bar had a wonderful assortment of fresh choices. Lettuce, spinach, sliced eggs, potato salad and much much more. For our entree we went with the steak for two which was a massive Sirloin. We asked for medium rare, knowing we haven’t had an steak cooked correctly in a while. Well it was! A steak that huge, textbook medium rare! It was delicious. The sweet potato fries were divine. The icing on the top of the cake, you ask? The lemon crunch and chocolate pie, a gift from God!! We were blown away with the service AND delicious food. (We have not been this impressed in a while.) We will be back and have told everyone that will listen!

When I was a child and visiting my maternal grandparents, Papaw would take us to Agnew’s Store. He would give us a dime, and in the 60s, that dime would buy 10 pieces of penny candy or a Coke and candy bar. Now the old store is a restaurant, and memories flood my mind whenever I go there. The food is tasty, and the service is even friendlier.

I love this mom and pop restaurant. I wish they were open longer on the weekdays. Their Cajun style pork chop dinner is so good. I order it every time. The pork chop is nice and thick and extremely juicy. They have the best rolls. I hope they never quit serving this food or I would cry.

Awesome food experience! Me and my wife decided to try it out. After we arrived, I was telling her that one of the waitresses looked just like my cousin – just to find out that it is my cousin! I didn’t know she worked there, and come to find out, her daughter even works there in the kitchen. Obviously, since I have some good family members working there, I would consider it to likely be a good place. The food was awesome, the lemon crunch dessert usually sells out (my cousin told us) but still had some left this time, which was awesome as well! The service was good (by more than just my cousin) and the prices were quite reasonable. It is out in the country, and seemed to have a good bit of normal, country customers in there (like us). This is a very good place to eat for a down home atmosphere, good prices, and great food!
