Yes, the hype is real! I’m from CT and this is legit a Pepe’s more type of pizza. Saw the Dave portnay review and had to stop by and to see and yup Best pizza in Florida I’ve tasted hands down. No flop, just amount of sauce and cheese, crust is crispy. The staff Cass is great and knows what she’s talking about. They know what they’re doing.

The hype is real. Only thing I would change is the music. Pizza is straight out of a New Haven oven. Kassandra was so nice even with the huge crowd. You may have to wait an hour but it’s worth it. The plain pizza is DELICIOUS!

We came from Chicago to try Ah-beetz because of Dave Portnoy’s review. It was not disappointing, delicious pizza. Look at the pizza cooks hands in my picture and you will see that guy is not playing around. Will definitely return next time in town. It was pretty busy on a Thursday afternoon.

Got half pepperoni and half breaded eggplant. Was delicious. Good char action. Hard to find good pizza in Florida. This New Haven style place definitely hit the spot. The owner and staff were very nice. Was worth the drive from west palm, hopefully they open a place closer to us soon. Indoor and outdoor seating. BYOB which is a nice plus.

So happy to have the real deal in south Florida. I grew up with some good places around but these days it’s hard to find a really great pizza joint where the people actually care about their pizza and work hard to produce the best possible product. I have had their pizza a few times now and it is terrific. Sometimes the AC has been down so eating inside is rough. Plus, there are an only a couple tables so it’s either outside where it’s often hotter or take it home. But…the pizza and service is so good, it still gets 5 stars. I saw that Dave Portnoy came by finally and gave an 8.4. I would go 8.9 at least and maybe 9.1 if there was a better place to eat and cooler!

I was so excited to try this place. The wings were good. The pizza unfortunately l can’t recommend. We waited an hour for the food and really wanted it to be good. Not worth an hour wait. The pizza was burnt and dry. I placed it on my silver pan so you can see the color of this pizza.

Small place that packs a punch, had to loosen my belt afterwards. Very difficult to make a New Haven style crust that doesn’t dehydrate too much in a coal oven. They know exactly what they’re doing here and it shows. Good owners on premises that care and love what they do.
