Ahan Lao is a fantastic restaurant. I have been twice in about six weeks because the food is delicious and well priced. My family’s favorites are the Thai papaya salad, the Lao beef jerky (which you have to try!) and the Nam Khao. The service is quick and friendly when dining in and ordering take out during the afternoon. Please give this place a try! You won’t regret it 🙂

They have the best lao sausages with the jeow bong except it was undercooked. Like lukewarm on one side and cold/red on the other side so I had to reheat it! Other things I tried here were just okay. Their mango was tiny and didn’t taste very good but the sweet coconut rice was okay. It was too overcooked like almost hard. $10 for that dessert as of now since online price isn’t updated yet.

When $68 worth of food isn’t enough to feed 2 people, there’s a problem. Yes prices have gone up but what we got was absurd. Portion sizes are very small. The food was just OK. I can not recommend this place at all.

Wow, terrible customer service! Asked me to hold on twice and then after 15 minutes, just hung up. I tried calling back but no answer. Since I was close by and on my way I decided to walk in. Same guy yelled at me that he isn’t taking any more orders. When I explained politely, he kept cutting me off. He was one of the owners. When I asked why he didn’t tell me that on the phone, he told me to leave. Very rude, but worse! Just didn’t care and very disrespectful. Business is booming now, but I have also noticed a decrease in quality and quantity. It will catch up to them! Customers matter!

The Khao Piek Sen is BOMB. I ordered it for take out. The price is real good for their portions. I also ordered Thai Tea. This place is great for those who work or live around there. It’s a quick and easy place to grab a bite to eat.
