The grilled garlic butter ahi smelled like old fish and taste like also. Couldn’t get past the first bite for the fear of potential food poisoning. The brown rice was good though…… but when I went to complain the people was nice, one worker and chef offered me something else from the menu, I didn’t accept because a was so disappointed.

I definitely recommend coming here for fresh fish. I came here during the lunch rush and I ordered a spicy ahi poke bowl. The poke was out fast, fresh and delicious the best poke bowl I’ve ever had. You definitely should check it out, 10/10

Clean store. Bentos at this location, happy hour, and AYCE at certain times. Order at the counter or the kiosk. This location is different than the others but the food is great. No table service. Mandoo are CRISP. tiny wings but yummy

It’s always a bad thing when you can’t even finish a small plate of what you love. I ordered the Bluefin Otoro sashimi. It came out as 8 pieces of nigiri. I should have known better for only $25 price tag. Definitely not Otoro. Nothing like butter when bitting into. The striations made each bite impossible to chew. No fatty goodness. The worst thing was when the waiter came to our table and asked if we liked it, we said no. We’ve had Otoro at least a thousand times and this was not it. Impossible to eat. No attempt was made to bring back to the kitchen. The item was not removed from bill.

Could not be happier with this restaurant. The portions were incredibly generous, especially considering the prices. The fish was intensely fresh and flavorful, and the chicken was tender and juicy. I was worries I hadn’t ordered enough food, so I added on a $7 spicy ahi roll. I was expecting a tiny thin maki, but it ended up being a full futo maki sized roll! From the welcoming accommodations when we arrived to the thank yous when we left, everything about Ahi and Vegetable was a wonderful experience, and we will be coming back the next time we are on Oahu.

2 women Staff were very rude because I only bought a juice. I’m doing construction in the area and was thirsty, I stopped by and The spot was dead, so they take it out on me… They had their backs turned to me the whole time I was at the counter standing there lol. I said thank you and they just started at me lmao so I walk out. Also 2$ for a 50 cent juice lol Imagine how they treat other people if they treat city workers like that. They tried the wrong person. Ahi katsu burnt/overcooked. I’m almost certain this Shrimp tempura is from the store. This makes me mad hence the review. I bought frozen shrimp a couple of years ago but forget what brand it was. It doesnt have that authentic japanese taste. The batter is so uniform too like it wasnt handmade. The mandoo was pretty good though.

Wow, this is now my go to spot. Staff is friendly, food is yummy and fresh, and you can’t beat the value. The only con is parking. My favorite is the sashimi (generous pieces) and the chicken wings/tempura bento.
