Good food, nice service, friendly staff, and between the planes taking off and Landing it almost feels like you travel back in time when you get a good meal with drink and dessert for a buck and a quarter. With good food to be had at around 15 bucks a plate Plus drink. The ambiance is ingenuous, with a real 1940s Airport with artifacts they could be in the Smithsonian, articulate how North Platte help support the introduction of air mail, passenger transportation, and Airport safety with one of the first lighted airports in the nation. Come for the food and stay for the history lesson.

We ate breakfast – coffee was hot & great flavor, the eggs were cooked perfectly, the sausage tasted fantastic, 1 pancake was the size of a dinner plate (not exaggerating!) the homemade toast was delicious, service was excellent!! Will definitely be back!

Now called the Lincoln Highway Diner (their 2nd location in North Platte). We visited for breakfast. Great place to come if you’re hungry! Huge portions of hot, fresh food served very quickly. Every member of the staff was warm and friendly. Also, a big plus to me, the bathrooms were very clean! I don’t get to North Platte often, but I plan to visit again.

Decided to try airport after a 10 yr hiatus. Wont be back again. The prime rib was bland,cold and doubtful prime. The au just was water-downed lipton onion soup mix flavor. Brown gravy was one the worst tasting gravies I’ve ever tasted. Just find it very odd with all the positive reviews the food is that great. It really isnt folks. I will just continue to go to their other greasy spoon dive on Rodeo Rd for the Breakfast Burrito.

This place reminds me of a Mom & Pop Diner… Good food, polite staff, and a closeness that seems to be missing in a lot of places nowadays. Another plus is that we have never left there hungry… Always generous portions!

One of the best kept secrets in town. They have a very affordable menu and the best cinnamon rolls out their. Even better their dinner/supper is big portions and comes with the salad bar.
