I was passing by and hungry around midday and have been craving sushi lately, so I decided to see if I could get something quickly and order on the modest side (for sushi) and continue quickly on my way. I was not disappointed. I ordered two California rolls which were fresh and well-portioned. Not only were they well-portioned, but they came as a lunch special with a complimentary miso soup AND salad. Service was friendly and on point, ambiance/decor was about average, but I got my sushi fix plus unexpected extras well-served, promptly (without my pointing out at all that I was trying to make it a quick stop), and well-priced. We order take out from here. Their food is consistently decent. Everything has always tasted fresh and they are very careful when they package the food for takeout. I’ve eaten there as well and I like that it is byob. It is a little small inside, but the service is usually good and there is usually a table available. They had a good special for $20 you got an appetizer, a special roll, a non special roll and maybe a dessert. That seemed like a great deal and quite a bit of food too.

Decent sushi and decent service. Their tuna and salmon rolls take like any other standard sushi you can find. I will acknowledge their black pepper tuna app because it is pretty good. Lunch prices are pretty good for take out. Dinner is priced higher, which makes sense, but the service is hit or miss.

I’m currently writing this review from inside the restaurant after waiting 3 hours for my food. This restaurant contains both take out and eat in. They are more focused on the take out bc of the extra money they make. I come here often and every single weekend they are extremely packed. They have only 2 sushi rollers and 2 servers and one of them is completely incompetent. I ordered my food and waiting after an hour we asked what had happened after not even receiving soup. We received our soup but our appetizers were no where to be found. After inquiring what had happened we waited another half hour for only one of our appetizers. We bite in and the food is disgusting and rotten! We send it back and after another hour we get only half our appetizers. We wait for a third and then our sushi comes after inquiring and asking the lady if we should leave. I’m still waiting on my final

The sushi chefs behind the counter care about presentation, even when making take out orders, I walked in, ordered California rolls and some miso soup. Who I assume is the manager or owner came out and offered me and an older gentleman hot tea or water. Unbelievably hospitable and kind for a little hole in the wall sushi establishment. Did not expect this kind of service I am blown away. 10/10 will visit again next time I’m in town

I am never disappointed at this place. It is a cozy atmosphere (it does not seat too many) and the sushi is the best in the area. It is a great place for date night and you can save a little $ because it is BYOB!

You wouldn’t know it by looking to it’s exterior but this place serves up some of the best sushi in the area. Sushi rolls are LARGE and will fill you up. Prices are great and the ambiance is quiet with a friendly wait staff. Would have given it 5 stars except I was once served spoiled eel in an eel roll and the service tends to be slow so be prepared to wait if dining in.
