After just moving to VA, I’m so happy that I have an awesome sushi place close by. The ambience is very chill and fairly quiet. The servers are so kind and attentive. The food is amazing! I’m more of a nigiri/sashimi type and love that they have great a la carte choices. Their Escolar (White Tuna) is amazing! Try it out if you’re in the area.

Everything we tasted (sashimi, sushi, soup, katsu, etc, was fresh. Service was kid friendly and fast. The actual space is very clean but you and your eating companions make the atmosphere. There are much fancier sushi spots but if you value the quality food over ambiance this is a great place.

Friendly servers brought us fresh sushi really fast. Enjoyed edamame, fried calamari, and salmon. Rolls — Captain crunch, tuna, shogun — were creative and delicious. Fried shrimp tempura was perfectly cooked. Will be back.

I took a group of colleagues to enjoy an evening out with the girls. One of my guest started choking and the wait staff was inattentive to the situation. I was able to dislodge the piece of sushi from my friend but was disappointed that they didn’t take it seriously or render assistance. I had to get the staff’s attention to clean up the floor. I was so rattled by the situation afterwards that I neglect to leave the tip. We left and within minutes the wait staff chased me down to my car and demanded that I pay her the tip. My intention was not to stiff her but her rude aggressive action was embarrassing and uncalled for.

Their sushi is OK. Nothing negative to add, but also nothing spectacular to add. Northern Virginia has a lot of sushi restaurants and this one is closest to where I play trivia on Thursday nights, so I went here. There is sufficient seating inside if you choose to dine in.
