I have probably been here 4 or 5 times since opening already and it has been great every time! The service is extremely fast and everything comes out great. The appetizers and ramen both are very good and pretty authentic for Salem.

I am being over critical because this is not an $11 or $12 bowl of ramen that you can get anywhere in Portland at the best Ramen Houses. This Ramen is pushing $15 and that’s if you don’t add one additional single topping which a lot of people do. The broth is disproportionate to the toppings and noodles. In other words, way too much broth to make the bowl look full.

I am very happy about that place. The food, service, and atmosphere are amazing. The waiting time is also very short. I ordered Miso Ramen and did not regret it. However, be careful. Portions are big! I would definitely recommend this place. Especially to those who like authentic Japanese kitchen!

Update: I had the Miso Ramen and Pork pan fried gyoza I had to go back it’s so good! Not too salty and not to greasy and it’s subtle and light and savory and not too overwhelmingly rich so it’s really easy to eat and feel satisfying!

This place is everything I ever wanted in ramen, the flavor is spot on and the spice level is perfection! So happy we finally have a ramen shop in town!

At long last, the Salem downtown core has a legit ramen shop!!! The broth was flavorful, meat well seasoned, and the noodles seemed home made. Can’t wait to return.

It’s always fresh when I order, my orders are accurate and fast. The staff are friendly however they get busy very quickly. I prefer ordering take out vs dining in. Every order is consistent in flavor

I got this delivered from DoorDash yesterday and was disappointed in the ramen. I got tonkotsu and it tasted only like the seaweed garnish and bacon grease, nothing else. The broth looked, tasted, and smelled like they added bacon grease to it. The noodles were also exactly like packaged top ramen noodles and weren’t great, but it did have a decent meat portion. The fried pork gyoza and spicy dipping sauce was way way better than the ramen. I would recommend Ibendoo over this place any day.

Clean and newly opened restaurant. I got black garlic tonkotsu ramen and it was good. Not too rich. Unique shaped spoon.
