My husband and I eat here at least once every other week. They have the best sushi and Chinese food around! The service has always been perfect and I haven’t tasted anything I didn’t like! And you can walk in and ask for their house Cabernet and it’s really good! My favorite dish is the Jalapeño yellow fish appetizer! Picture included 🙂

Over priced and low quality. Server was nice and attentive. Red onions in fried rice and teriyaki chicken tasted boiled.

We’ve done carry-out many times from Akashi. We’ve always been pleased with the orange chicken and beef broccoli. The Crab Puff appetizer is excellent. The sushi lunch special is outstanding. Great, friendly service – never a mix up on our order.

Visited this place for the first time a few weeks ago and was very pleased. The staff was friendly and we were quickly seated. The view from the inside is cool and modern. I loved the giant windows that we were sat next too. It was a great view. They have a great selection of food, Chinese and Japanese. My husband and I ordered appetizers, sushi, soup, sake, and entrees and our bill was not expensive at all. The quality of the food was great! And the portions as well! This is also a great place to just go get some sushi because they have at least fifty different rolls. We had the Godzilla roll and it was delicious! We will definitely be back and continue to come here as long as our experience is the same.

Do not recommend this place. Ordered california rolls and they had no flavor and didn’t seem to be fresh. Typically the crab would be chopped smaller and mixed with some kind of sauce, but it wasn’t. It’s just a small chunk of dry flaky imitation crab, loaded with celery sticks and a small slice of avocado definitely not worth the price. The egg drop soup was decent, the gyoza/dumplings weren’t cooked enough and had no flavor, needed some salt or something added for flavoring. If you are on a reduced sodium diet, this place may be for you.

Unfortunately, the food was not good. I had Cowboy roll and a shrimp tempura roll. Neither were good. The eel sauce combined with the spicy mustard sauce just didn’t mix well. Atmosphere was great though! Our waitress just seemed like she didn’t want to be there.

Akashi is our favorite place for Asian cuisine. It’s an easy drive on Kuykendahl Road and there’s plenty of well-lit parking. The restaurant is always clean and the place is family-friendly. The customer-facing staff do a great job and so do those working behind the scenes; service is friendly, professional, and efficient and the food arrives quickly and delicious. Prices are reasonable, too. What’s not to like?
