Cute food truck with plenty of outdoor seating available. They have one vegetarian soup option which can be made VEGAN, BUT you have to use the buckwheat noodles as the typical noodles are egg based. I was NOT a fan of the buckwheat noodles, but the rest was delicious. However, the noodles are most of the the substance of the soup. I wish they would offer a rice based noodle and CLEARLY label a vegan option.

This place is delicious. The broth was rich and fresh! Best place we have tried in northwest Arkansas. Had the miso soup with the thin noodles and gyoza . Staff was friendly and helpful ! Great place would 100% recommend.

Akita Ramen and Bowl has a great vibe and energy. I ordered the Karrage Don Rice Bowl and a Pork Belly Bun. The bun was phenomenal: pork was well cooked, the bun was fresh, and there was just the right amount of sauce. The Karrage was very good, but could have used more sauce given the large amount of rice provided. All that being said, I really enjoyed the food.

As someone who has lived all over Japan and ate at many authentic Ramen soups in my life… I’d be lying to you if I said this Ramen was good, let alone authentic. This place is the exact opposite of good. Had I known the quality of flavor and ingredients, I would not have paid $15 for a bowl of this “ramen”. The noodles taste like the cup soup ramen you can buy at a Walgreens store. The actual soup, the egg, and all other ingredients are bland and tasteless and highly forgettable. It’s probably delicious if you have nothing else to compare it to.

Tried the Classic ramen with thick noodles, medium spice. Absolutely delicious. Perfect for rainy day slurping in my car. Pork broth is rich, umami, and cooked 12 hrs, and comes in a separate container so you can wait until you get home to add to the noodles (I dare you to try). The pork chasu is a wide thin cut and perfectly cooked with delicious sear. Noodles clumped together then softened after adding the broth, good texture. The soft boiled tea egg is also delicious.

Little Food Truck in a food truck parking lot just north of the UA campus on 71. Easy to get in and out, and legit ramen. I’ve tried some of the more ‘advanced’ bowls, but honestly just keep coming back to the classic thin noodle bowl with spicy broth. Special credit goes to probably one of the best cooked Gyoza I’ve had in a very long time. Price is a little high for a food truck, i think the classic bowl is close to $15, but the taste is worth it. Get some soup, feel good, do it again.
