This is my new Sushi Town/Sushi Hana. I have been looking for my new default place for cheap and delicious sushi and Sushi Akira is the place to go! I am coming back again and I am bringing my partner and more friends. This place is absolutely worth it. One thing that is memorable is the fact that I get my own spicy mayo bottle because I love it so much.

Located across the street from the Beaverton Town Square, this is a typical train sushi spot with a big variety of choices in a continuous rotation. The selection of what was available was quite impressive and it was a great idea to group the selection’s together with a placard explaining the item! Not a big selection of sake on hand, but again, this is a train sushi spot and not a restaurant. Very basic place. Food is old. Does not taste fresh. They make several plates at once and let them sit out on the belt. I grabbed what I thought was deep fried California roll, however it was chicken, and it was cold. The menu is lacking information. Pictures would be more helpful. The sashimi did not taste good. It had the taste of freezer burn. There is nothing that made me feel I was eating something made fresh. Everything I had was over 30 mins old. Was excited to try it, but overall extremely disappointed.

Not super fancy, but decent sushi and not too spendy. There are better spots around for higher quality sushi, but if you’re looking for a quick bite to satisfy your sushi craving, this place will fit the bill and not break the bank. Specialty rolls are much better than the standard items.

Conveyor belt sushi, different colored plates are different prices. Tasty sushi! The great thing about this place is that the sushi is organized on the belt! There are signs on the belt with the name and ingredients of the sushi between that sign and the next. Lots and lots of options, from simple to elaborate, are all on the belt.

Pleasantly surprised! Sushi is delicious, prices are very low and unheard of in this economy. I drive past 3 sushi restaurants to go to this sushi place! You will too! They offer vegan and vegetarian rolls as well!

I love their baked mussel. The sauce was spot on. But the rest of the selection want blan which was disappointing. The fried calamari was as thick as onion ring and was not season. The sushi restaurant was running at a tap warmer than room temperature which make dining experience uncomfortable, particularly near summer. Since the track has only picture, there should be a better way for customer to place order ( like marking on the menu sheet). Not ready to return until the place improve.
