AKOMEYA Asian Bistro is a great place. We had excellent service, all staff we encountered were friendly. We were seated quickly (although we did not go during a busy time), our server was very helpful and had good recommendations. Our table was clean and the overall vibe/atmosphere of the inside of the restaurant was calming and fun. They had a great specials menu. The overall pricing was fair. The sushi was extremely fresh (you could smell the freshness when they brought it to the table). The dumplings were well cooked (we chose pan fried) and tasty, served with a nice dipping sauce. The lychee pork we had was unique and quite tasty, great sauce and perfectly cooked pork. Would recommend AKOMEYA Asian Bistro.

We went for lunch and had the lunch specials, which were a great price at $8 to $13, and a good variety. When we sat down the waitress brought us some fried noodles and dipping sauce which were Very tasty. I had the fried tofu and vegetable with white rice and husband had the honey chicken with fried rice. Both were very good! Nice open seating inside with nice decor and lighting.

Awesome chinese restaurant in HH. The Hit and sour soup is delicious. The restaurant is spacious and very clean. The main dishes are served in bowls of rice which was unique and a better option than plates. You couldn’t find a better chinese restaurant in the Bluffton HH area.

The best Asian food and dining experience I have had in Bluffton. The restaurant itself is beautiful and not the typical small, box strip mall affair. The portions were good sized, I ended up with a take out box, and very reasonably priced. My sesame chicken and spring rolls were delicious. I think I have found my go to place.

My family loves Akomeya. We’ve never actually eaten inside, but we’ve probably eaten carryout a dozen or more times. The food is always ready by the time we pick it up, to the point where sometimes I wait to place the order until I’m actually on the way (about 15 minutes away). My kids love the fried rice and honey chicken. I will either get sushi or the thai basil fish – both are always on point. They’ve never messed up my order and are always nice when we pick up. This is currently our go-to asian food restaurant for non-hibachi orders.

Came in for a quick lunch and wasn’t disappointed. The server started me off with Asian “chips and salsa” (fried wonton noodles with sweet and sour sauce), and I may or may not have eaten them all. I ordered a lunch special of Mongolian Beef with fried rice, and it was on point. I will definitely be back again soon!

We have found this to be the best Asian food here in Bluffton. There aren’t mystery meats, they serve quality entrees and vegetables. The spring rolls are excellent but the egg rolls are very greasy…too bad! Try the beef and green beans!
