A super low-key, relaxing place. We don’t drink, so we weren’t sure if we’d enjoy it. Super friendly server, the restaurant side was relaxing and had nice music going. Brat sandwich was delicious! Onion rings were *Awesome*.

I just want to say I want to come back and try their German dishes, we stopped and got the Friday fish fry and it was just ok. But our service was really good. So I will be back to try other dishes on menu.

Advertised omelets, hash browns, and full salad bar. Most of this was p Salad bar was Mayo salads. Scrambled eggs burnt, chicken had no seasoning food was cold. This was Easter brunch bill came to $119 for 6 and only two sodas for drinks. Stay away!!!

I love the atmosphere here. They offer a great Friday night fish fry and smoked BBQ ribs that are fantastic! I’m picky about fish and ribs so when I say they’re fantastic I mean it. Prices are about what we’re currently seeing anywhere right now for food. The drinks we a little pricey. The staff were amazing and very interactive with nice conversation.

Food was meh. Swine schnitzel was fried well (golden), but the pork cut so thin that it was hard and dry. Not worth $23. Potato pancakes would have tasted good but they were slightly burnt. Waited forever for the check. 2 stars for an edible salad bar, friendly but slow service, and a decent Octoberfest.

On a late September weekday, at about noon, I walked into Al & Al’s, grabbed a seat at the bar, and had one of the top 5 meals of my life. Nothing fancy at all: a double bratwurst sandwich with a side of what I later understood to be homemade sauerkraut, washed down with a mug of Paulaner Oktoberfest. But everything was perfect: the brats, the buns, the kraut… even the beer, which was at just the right cool-but-not-icy temperature.

I and my daughter had a surprise birthday party for my wife with 50+ attendees last Saturday. Steve and his staff were very helpful and accommodating, the hall was set up nice, service was excellent, food was great, and the price very reasonable. Great place for a private party.
