Ordered two pizzas. We totally finished one before the second. I don’t ever do reviews but this was the worst pizza I have ever had. So bland. The pizza sauce had no flavor or the crust.

Like a lot of places, atmosphere is a large part of the experience here and this place is no exception. It’s located by the water and had outdoor seating. We placed a to go order and it was ready in about 15min. The pizza was a thin crust with a slightly raised rim. It looked like it was thrown together quickly and toppings were added after it was cooked. The pizza was crispy and had a cracker taste. Not my favorite

Stella makes beautiful and delicious food and they serve us their mouth-watering dishes at St Anthony’s Hospital Cafeteria on Friday. Today I’m having Salmon with a gorgonzola cream sauce over fresh garlicky pasta and delicately cooked vegetables. Stella tops everything off with arugula, parmesan cheese, parsley and her smile. So much love in their food.

To sum it up: Great view and setting, Very Average for everything else. Prices reasonable. We seemed to get lost in the cracks when it came to service and noticed a few tables that came in behind us get served their food before us. Just the act of ordering seemed unorganized and not systematic. This did seem like a mom & pop restaurant (& the name seems to suggest that) along with the pandemic might have handicapped this restaurants service but this is what we experienced and as first timers can not say if it’s the norm. We had breaded mushrooms for a starter and Alfredo chicken plus gluten free Bolognese as mains. On the tasty scale it was 2, 3 & 4 respectively. It has a lovely scenic waterfront seating on the intercostal along with cosy, warm inside seating.

A salad, two beers and an easy to cook entre took 1 hr 15 minutes. They were not busy when I ordered. Others sat down after me, were served , paid their bill and left before my entree was served – including pizzas and other entrees.

This is Italian food at its best! Al and Stella’s is the real deal and a quiet gem of a place. The food was divine, the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable and the service was exceptional. We would travel to Sand Key just to eat here again. Bravo!!!

Do not recommend what so ever. On vacation and ordered to go. My husbands first thought was to turn around and walk out and boy I wish he would have. Not one person was in there when literally every surrounding place was packed. That in its self is a warning. $50+ for a margherita pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. I’ll start with the pizza: sad. Crust was nice but the sauce was definitely out of a can. The mozzarella was sparse and the pizza was covered in basil so you couldn’t see how little mozzarella was on it. And the tomatoes were thick and nasty. And for the Spaghetti and meatballs… I’ve made better spaghetti and meatballs at home. Sauce was watery as hell and also out of a can. Meatballs were clearly frozen and then reheated. not worth the money or the 20 min drive my husband drove to pick it up.

Ordered chicken parm dinner. The piece of chicken was small and the sauce was not great. I also wouldn’t recommend the pizza. My husband got the meatlovers and not so good. Overpriced!! Sad cause the location and idea to have dinner on the water would be so nice.
