Just awesome. Went with my wife for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, sat at the bar. The staff was super friendly, chatted with the bartender and server for quite a while. Sangria was delicious. We had clams casino and calamari for our appetizers. Calamari was outstanding. Not overly breaded and was nice and crisp. For our entrees my wife ordered the Zuppa Di Pesce and I had Chicken Marsala, both were excellent. Best Italian that we have had since we have moved to CT from NJ. Definitely go back again soon and looking forward to sitting outside in the covered outdoor area.

Restaurant was very busy, so we were grateful that they were able to accommodate us without a reservation. My husband’s homemade ravioli was absolutely delicious, and my lasagna was amazing. I could literally eat it every night. We sat inside, but they do have a great outdoor patio with an amazing view of the town green. The owner, his family, and the entire staff are wonderful. Can’t wait to go back.

Stopped by Al Dente for lunch when shopping on the New Milford green. While the service was good and the side salad was fine, I ordered an eggplant parm grinder which was quite a disappointment. While not on the menu, it seemed a relatively easy request for an Italian restaurant. The eggplant was obviously not homemade (likely pre-packaged previously frozen and tasteless). There was no mozzarella on the sandwich and I must say, it was just about the worst attempt at an eggplant parm grinder I’ve ever tasted. The previous restaurant that resided in the same location was much better – at least for lunch.

What could be better? The food was outstanding and portions were large. The owner/chef really cares. And, the waitstaff, including some of his adult children are friendly, efficient, and delightful. Pricesare reasonable.
