Great place to slip by and get a bite of some of the best food in Sandusky by car, by boat by bike or on foot-hands down it’s a winner! Atmosphere is great with the water and boats in front of you and when it slows down the chef is gonna come out and say hi. Great prices and food was wonderful-great choices-salads, apps, burgers and sandwiches, dinners and sides. The lobster rolls are already a favorite. Can’t wait to come back and try out some other options. Live entertainment on some nights and afternoons-you’ll love it we sure did!!

Chef Benny Vito’s humor is just as good as his food. Benny and his crew were a lot of fun and checked in on us frequently. I had a peaceful lunch on the patio with a great view of the marina and Cedar Point. The lunch rush was taken care of swiftly and we had our food in minutes. I had an amazing perch sandwich with even better fries! A great spot to spend a summer day. PS – Be prepared to share your favorite cartoon character – that’s how they call your order out.

Everything was delicious. Wouldn’t expect anything less when Benny is involved! We became big fans of Zuppaman so we knew this wouldn’t disappoint. The Asian truffle barbecue sauce was incredible and the walleye bites in the tacos were so awesome. The onion petals sauce was amazing, but I honestly could eat those onion rings alone!

Absolutely excellent food. Don’t let the fact that its a counter service restaurant deter you. The food is five star. We enjoyed amazingly fresh fish, perfectly fried fries and onion petals. But there is a lot more there than fish, if that is not your preference. The staff and owner are extremely helpful and friendly. And the view is out of this world. An excellent choice for an excellent meal.

I was skeptical at first but bit the bullet based on other reviews. Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. I had the Lobster Roll, my wife had the pesto turkey, and we had an order of fries between us. Everything was delicious and each item tasted like a signature part of the menu – even the fries. Chef Benny came out to greet us at our table and it was instantly clear how passionate he is of his craft.

Didn’t know much about it before we got there – but definitely not disappointed! Don’t judge it by the order at the counter system because everything was great. Perch sandwich, Lobster Roll & Onion Petals were spectacular! Owner/Chef Benny came to visit with us before our food was ready & then he brought our meals out as well. Gotta love a place when the chef is visiting tables & guests whenever possible. Told us some fun facts about his menu items & creations – almost everything is homemade and the onion petal sauce was delicious – and made with truffles.

I love this place! The Lobster Roll is 2nd to none. It is so fresh you would think Lake Erie had lobster. You have to try the fries, best fries in Sandusky area. Make sure you get the onion petal sauce for dipping. The live entertainment and the Marina atmosphere makes this place a must try and a great place to enjoy with your friends and dock mates.

In town for business and wanted to find a chill place on the water to grab a bite for dinner. Al Fresco did not disappoint. The weather was misting rain but they had some good food to eat under their porch. It was really great to enjoy a sandwich looking out over the water with seagull singing overhead. Great atmosphere and food.
