This spot has been running for 25 years for a reason. Don’t let the lack of Yelp reviews fool you. I’ve been hitting up every local spot in Nashville and this was the single best plate of food I’ve had. Super affordable and the flavors were spectacular. Great variety and a beautiful staff working there. Such a pleasure getting to know these folks and I look forward to coming back to this spot.

Some of the best food in the area. Iraqi food. Had the beef shish kebab plate. Kebabs and chicken are grilled over charcoal. There’s always chicken in the rotisserie but expect to wait for the beef kebabs, but they’re worth the wait. A little pricey compared to some other places, but for the amount of food you get and the quality, I would go back there without any hesitation.

They have a buffet of hot foods that they serve on a plate for you. This night included beef ribs or lamb shank or chicken livers or curried chicken as main dishes, plus some others. Dinner also includes soup and salad. I had spinach chick pea soup, others had golden lentil soup. The food was so tasty and well seasoned. The environs are not fancy, but comfortable.
