I’ve eaten there twice now, once back in April 2016 and again in December 2016. Both times, it was above par food. For it being in Alamo (a “bit” off the less traveled path), it probably should have 5 stars. Both times, I’ve done Mexican dishes and I was happy. Wife and kids do the American and were similarly satisfied. Clean, well taken care of place. No credit cards, BUT they have an ATM right next to the cash register if you need it.

We were headed through Alamo pretty late and our family was starving. We stopped in to find a nice spot for a quick dinner. The restaurant is was VERY clean. The wait staff was kind and helpful. The menu was diverse, they even served breakfast all day. I ordered tacos and they were good. Overall, I was happy with our meal.

Linda was awesome! She answered all my questions very honestly and made absolutely delicious food. The lemon meringue was especially delicious! We were just passing through and almost missed this place. That would have been a big bummer! They have a big menu with breakfast lunch and dinner and with American and Mexican food.

What a pleasant surprise. This may be the only restaurant in town, but it is clean and comfortable… and the home made food is fantastic. The owner even visits with you at your table. Absolutely worth the stopping and enjoying some Alamo hospitality.

Restrooms were very clean. Friendly service. Great atmosphere and great food. Next time I will take pictures to post! Make this a stop if your in Alamo or just passing through! You won’t regret it. I promise.

Great food! A friend and I tried the cheese quesadilla, and the bean and cheese burrito dinners, which came with rice and beans. Both excellent. Get the burrito smothered with their homemade enchilada sauce. It was amazing!!!!!! Also we had peach pie with ice cream! Homemade pies from a local woman in town. Delicious!!!!!!
