This place was phenomenal. My fiancé and I came to Pigeon Forge for his birthday all the way from Charleston, SC and we chose to give Alamo Steakhouse a taste! We are very happy that we did because everything was beyond phenomenal. From the food, to the atmosphere, to the friendliness, and our server Chris. I highly recommend this place to anyone! My fiancé did the 20oz Steak and I tried the old grilled salmon.

This place served the absolute most amazing Ribeye steak I have ever had. It was medium rare and “Ocared” which means it was covered with crab, asparagus, and hollandaise. It was super juicy and melted in my mouth! Our server, Anthony, was also a great gentleman and present at the perfect times!

Outstanding food and service! We had dinner here, and my wife and I both ordered the horseradish and parmesian filet. It was heavenly! We saved room for dessert and ordered the chocolate cake. Once again, excellent! Our server was a young lady who made sure we had an excellent experience. She chatted with us and ensured our dining experience was perfect. Great place to eat!

We always enjoy eating here while on vacation, however the past 2 times have been slightly disappointing. My steak was just a little overcooked for my liking, however, they did cook me a new one but by the time it was done my other food had gotten cold. Ended up taking leftovers home but glad to say, it reheated well and I finished my meal. Just not as anxious to go back as quickly as usual.

We got to the restaurant around 6:30, there was about a 35-40 min wait. They was plenty of waiting spaces where we didn’t feel cramped. Cool benches outside overlooking the Parkway.

Food was absolutely the winner for this visit to the area. My family comes to Pigeon Forge at least once a year and visits most of the Johnson Family restaurants. We specifically wanted to treat my mother to Alamo for her 70th birthday and I’m so glad we did. All steaks were cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional (thank you, Darcy!!!!), and the atmosphere was laid back and relaxing. Every Johnson Family restaurant we visited did everything right and are very happy to support them every time we are in the area!
