Beer and food are excellent! The lower overall rating is perplexing. Our experience was similar phenomenal. Jump off the cruise ship, plane, or car and make this a must stop.

On July 21st 2023 our Alaskan Cruise, Holland America docked at Ketchican, my husband went to do a takeout of Alaskan King Crabs. He wanted 2 crab legs and the the server a man with a big mustache suggested that we take a pound assorted of Alaskan Crabs legs for $85, which is enough for 2 person plus tax it we ended $96, which turned out to be a rip-off, there were only 4 pieces of crabs, fries, 2 containers of butter dips and lots of lemon, not enough for even 1 person. It really ruined our experience of wanting a taste of fresh Alaskan King Crab in Alaska. We could have got it cheaper in Costco, in Austin.

Our server, Jasper, was a total star! Even with being busy and understaffed (they are still hiring), she was attentive and very kind and understanding. We had a great time and great food and would definitely recommend it!

Don’t come in May to this restaurant. The salmon and fish tasted like it was from last year…. frozen and cooked to it was so dry, you could have brought it with you on a hike!

My whole family and I went here for lunch after walking around for awhile after we got off port from our cruiser line. I got to have the clam chowder and it was good. Then we ordered like 3lbs of crab legs and such. Some legs were soft and rubbery, but still were to get the meat out. So much food ordered we couldn’t eat it all.

Our waitress was amazing, the birthday waitress! The food was delicious. And the king crab was the best.

The server recommended a special of the day… Bucket of crab, comprised of parts they couldn’t put on a menu as full crab. Thank God she recommended it because we dove in and loved the experience! We had a great table overlooking our cruise ships. Would recommend this place!!!

Our group did not have a good experience at this restaurant. We asked the waiter for a recommendation for a lunch meal. We were told the “Platter of King Crab” would happily feed a family of 4. With a price of $199, we believed him. The platter was supposed to come with a side of fries and a dinner roll. Unfortunately, when receiving the platter, we were extremely underwhelmed. The crab legs were small, with very small amounts of meat. We had to ask our waiter 2 times to get our side of fries, which was also, underwhelming small. When we asked about the dinner roll that we didn’t receive, but was included on the menu with the price, we were told, “Oh, sometimes it comes with it, and sometimes not.” We did not get compensation or an alternative. Our family of 4 left extremely hungry and disappointed with the prices and found food elsewhere after we left. We enjoy Alaskan king crab legs at home for a better price. Unfortunately, our whole group found this to be a tourist rip- off.
