Went to Alberto’s for a team dinner event. Liked the atmosphere and vibe . Its one of the best place to try Mexican food in downtown Pleasanton. Do try the drink Alberto’s Margarita, if you are looking for one.

Food was as good as any decent Mexican restaurants and worth the money. Drinks weren’t great though for adults. But kids drinks were good. . Loved their fresh Nacho, was fresh and warm.. loved the sides provided as well.

Came here for dinner on a random Thursday and it wasn’t crowded at all. I’d give this place a 4.2 rating. The restaurant offers free chips and salsa, wherever the chips are warm but tasted ok. The shrimp enchilada was very good, it came soaked in some white sauce. The chicken enchiladas that husband got was average. Their homemade hot sauce is good, especially if you need a kick. We spent around $30 for two plates. The restaurant overall ambience is nice. It’s not a bad option especially if you’re craving Mexican food and there are very few in the area.

Nice place in downtown. Mango tajin margarita was amazing. Few choices for vegetarians but whatever we ordered came out very good. Do ask for the spicy salsa!

I have been here at least three times now and I want to like it… but it’s pricey. Last night, I decided to try the spicy margarita (I love these at other restaurants) and it was so spicy that it burned my lips for a good (rather rotten) 15 minutes. I was embarrassed to ask the waitress for a traditional margarita, but did anyway and it never came. At the bar to get something I could drink, the bartender asked if I had botox or lip fillers. Rude. I’m a teacher who could can barely afford to eat out. Other than that, my regular margarita was fine and the food was fine.

This is quite possibly the worst restaurant I’ve been to in Pleasanton.

This place was disappointing. The service was the worst service I’ve had in a long time. One of the servers grabbed my friends purse and moved it off the chair without asking/informing her to take a chair from our table. I had to get the servers attention every time we needed something, even for them to take our initial order. The food and drinks were decent, but with expensive prices and poor service, there is no reason to go back.

Our party of 3 was largely ignored. Waiter never checked back after finally taking our order (20 minutes), and we had to go inside to ask for our checks. All 3 dishes were bland, and disappointing. Won’t be back.

My family and I came here on Friday night as an early Mother’s Day dinner. We came around 7:30 ish not too crowded, granted the warriors were playing. We were seated in bout 5-7 mins. Our waitress Melissa was amazing. Super friendly and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the carnitas and a strawberry margarita.
