I’ve been eating at Albertos for over 20 years! They usually have yummy food! This is my first time at the Victoria Gardens location. It was quite the shock. I had to ask the cook to wear gloves. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! It truly grossed me out!!!! He was fumbling around while cooking He was messing with his earpod, and talking on his phone all while cooking. I insisted he wore gloves when he made my order. I definitely will not be back! LOL!!!!!!!! Craziness!

easily the worst albertos ive been too. ordered nachos, a burrito and a torta. stale, sloppy and just plain dissapointed honestly….geeez im in soo disbelief how bad it is

I like Alberto’s but this location is below average. The first time my family ate her it was ok…but I went back today and ordered a California burrito and it was nasty. It definitely wasn’t a California Burrito as it had weird chunks of meet and a strange sauce mixed in.

Albertos is gross. It does depend on the owners though. Try viva las tacos Estrella in Rialto on Foothill. It is open 24 hours just like one in Pasadena. Their meat is really good; it never disappoints. Very good late night Mexican.

Went for a quick bite before a show. Ordered two tacos. The cook grabbed the precooked meat and the taco shells with his bare hands and threw them on the grill. Then he proceeded to put gloves on before preparing the next persons order. So I know heat is suppose to destroy bacteria but sense I’m a bit of a germaphobe, having no idea where his hands had been, I couldn’t bring myself to eat the food.

Do yourself a favor and don’t get the nachos. Seriously about 2″ thick of refried beans under a pool of sour cream and “guacamole” that taste like the stuff I used to get at the snack stand at the roller rink when I was a kid. Not to mention that there was barely any cheese and it was cold / not melted cheese too. My suggestion is to eat elsewhere

Worst Alberto’s I’ve ever experienced!!!! The guacamole on it was a super dark green/ brown color looks like it’s been sitting out and old. Food was not fresh at all. Don’t waste you money and time here go to a different one.
