This used to be the best Mexican food in the city. This place is a joke and absolutely disgusting now. This place has lost its way and the service and food show because of it. What is the point of the 5 extra pounds of lettuce on the taco? The burrito was super dry and the tortilla tasted burnt. Do not bother with this location.

I only come here for the asada fries and I’ve never had a bad experience. I can’t say much about the rest of the food but the asada fries come in a big container, like the ones you would get at Panda Express. The flavor is very good and the salsas they give you are very good as well. I can’t think of another place in the area that serves better asada fries than here.

Had a craving for steak nachos. My husband picked some up from Alberto’s. The meat was ok but beans were bland. The guacamole ruined it for me though. It wasn’t even a fresh guacamole, more like some kind of weird sauce and it tasted awful.

The Nachos had some kind of Avocado Paste smeared on the corn chips, instead of actual Avocado: tasted & looked weird.

Really good traditional SoCal Mexican food which is pretty consistent between their franchises. This time going, the fish taco was nicely fried and had a good balance of sauce and veggies. Also had some rolled tacos, but they were a bit overcooked and too crunchy (truly had to be careful chewing not to hurt myself). The double drive thru was a cool novelty… Which lane will you choose (and does it even matter?)?

I have been coming to this Alberto’s for about 7 years and the food is just as good now as it was then.
