The salsa taste like tomato sauce not enough spices. You need a good salsa and chips in a Mexican restaurant! They gave us a dinner menu and told us it was the lunch menu. The prices were outrageous double if not triple I almost left. I should have taken a picture of the menu prices. They had Pepsi products! So we shared a $20 combo platter it had a burrito, cheese enchilada, beef taco, bean tostada. The burrito was good! We asked for beans and beef, covered with enchilada sauce, lettuce, sour cream and tomatoes. The cheese enchilada was good! The staff was very nice. Our waitress was excellent!

Not good at all. We’ve eaten here several times in the past and tonight was just very disappointing. The green chile tasted like tomato soup. The rice and beans were flavorless. The beef in my burrito wasn’t seasoned at all. The server asked how it was as she cleared away my half eaten burrito and we were polite but honest. Her response was to say that the day cook was cooking and he wasn’t as good as the nighttime cook… Really? That’s the response? That cook shouldn’t be working there if there’s that drastic of a difference. And also that was a lame excuse because we usually come for lunch and it has been excellent in the past. Ended up paying over $50 for two people to eat an extremely bad meal. Very disappointing.

Our food was cold after we had to wait on it upon pick up. Melted and cooled again cheese on all of our orders after we spent over $50 for all 3 orders. When we called to ask and complain about our cold food they said that “they don’t usually get complaints about the food being cold, and there was nothing they would do about it” specifically Doreen answered the phone and stated that they did not care and there was nothing they would do about the situation. Very unprofessional establishment especially considering even a fast food chain will replace cold food. They also claim to have the “hottest green chili in town” and that’s 100% false the ‘hot’ green chili was mild at best.

Food is always great here, I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Saying this, an update could be definitely made considering alot of the decor has been used for a long time and gives off an older feel nothing stands out to make me want to come here as often as I did back in the day.

Ordered 2 burrito dinners which were billed incorrectly and a kids burrito. They billed for each item from al la cart making the price more than $6 more per plate. Additionally they didn’t even make the right food. My beef and bean burrito had no beef in it. None of the burritos had lettuce or cheese when we got home and saw the food either. Completely disgusted to have spent $55 on the burritos. The beans were also extremely cold as if they’d been sitting out for hours. I’ve been coming to this place for years and after tonight I will never return. Wish I could give zero stars.

I’ve always enjoyed my meals at Alberto’s. I’ve even been known to recommend it. But the last time l went l was not happy with my burrito. I ordered 1/2 & 1/2 green chili because in the past that was always hot enough for me but not this time. It didn’t have even a bit of hot in it. It was like green blay sauce. Sorry but you no longer hold the title of “the hottest sauce in town” Thank you
