The steak is not what people claim it is. The steak is slightly above average with 3x prices. The total meal was around 300, which is not bad, but they could do better. Staff was dropping forks and knives interrupting conversations amongst the table because they thought it would be a bright idea to have the fork/knife and cloth wrapping station next to the tables for some reason. This is not an Olive Garden. If you want to wrap silverware for guests, I would recommend moving it somewhere else away from the guests. Next was dessert. The fruit was warm and tasted like a gas station parfait. You get on a road trip when you’re tired of chips and candy. The cheesecake I kid you not felt like a HEB brand, individual cheese cake you get in the freezer section. This place could do so much better for what they are charging, and to end the night, 2 grasshoppers jumped up on the table, and my waiter saw and looked at me like it’s all yours. Which is fine. I’ll get them, but just a little weird.

Exceptional date night location. Pricey, but the food, service, and ambiance are worth it. Went for our anniversary, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, except they were sold out of the blueberry pie for desert. New York Strip was fantastic – tender & flavorful. Crab cakes were among the best I’ve ever had. The cheesecake with berries were savory-sweet, just right. The mood was intimate, dimmed lights, light jazz playing, so wonderful to be able to carry on adult conversation without having to yell to hear each other over noise, or children. Don’t take that wrong – I have my own, however sometimes the adults need an adult location to relax & enjoy themselves. I definitely recommend reservations.

So, the waiter only stopped by the table to take the order, drop the food off, and drop the check off. Mind you we came before dinner rush for a reason. So the food, not bad. I’ve had better for cheaper. but not so bad that I will complain about the price tag for a steak. What I will complain about, is the charging for every single condiment, like horseradish.. 10cents worth of horseradish for 2.5.. what? And not all condiments that we PAID extra for, got put in our bag. And When they wrapped up our meal we didn’t finish, we had 3 rolls left.. why not put those in our takeaway. Did they recycle those? or throw them away? if they are fighting over 10cent horseradish, make me think those bread rolls I touch got served to someone else..

I had a 30 oz porterhouse and it was cooked to my liking mouth watering. The ALC STEAKE SAUCE WAS GOOD. My wife’s steak did come out overcooked, but they corrected it. She was not a big fan of the broccoli. She returned and got another side item. Over all it was great our server was awesome and felt very cozy. 25th year anniversary in the books

Great experience at Austin Land and Cattle! The meat of the Ribeye was very tender with Argentinian Steak being the best quality steak my wife has ever had. Being a shrimp lover, I would have appreciated 1-2 more shrimps for the cocktail but it was great! Mac and cheese is also a must-have!
