The Knoxville Zoo has improved greatly from when I brought my young grandchildren here 6 years ago or more! I was impressed with the new layout, buildings and displays!!! The food is way way too expensive, so bring your own food! They even charge $3.99!for a cup of water!! Ridiculous, totally ridiculous!!! It makes me mad that they are charging so much for terrible food! It was over$50 for 3 meals with water in a nasty setting, and that was for one adult and 2 young children!!! Shame on you Knoxville Zoo for such outrageous food prices! I think you would sell more and make more, catering to families with reasonable prices!!!

Its the Grill @ The Zoo. Its a bit tourist pricey, and low quality. We got coffee and Spiked Coffee, which was a surprise! No complaints, Clean and Convenient.

Employees were incredibly rude. One staff member was cleaning tables and we asked her to clean off a table for us and she said no sit somewhere else. Talk about rude! The cashier was also very short.

Good place for food at the Zoo. Open during COVID with indoor and outdoor seating. Restrooms right outside. We had chicken tenders and a burger and they were tasty. Best of all we didn’t have to go far for lunch.
