I had walked past this place previously and decided to try it out one day. Man was I blown away! The food was much better than I expected! And the drinks as well, pleasantly surprised. Parking is awful in DTLA and this is within the Skid Row/Flower District area. Despite the area, this is mos def a spot. Highly recommended if you want to try it out.

Just chose Alebrijes randomly from Google maps, and discovered a real gem! The food was absolutely amazing! I had the Alebrijes quesidilla and my sister had the Oaxacan mole, and they were both some of the best food we’ve ever had!

Almost through with our drinks (and the “churros”) we realized we still haven’t received the guava rolls. Our server, Maxwell, was pretty accessible, so we asked about it. I think he realized he didn’t put the order in and was tremendously apologetic about it. It really wasn’t a big deal, so we told him not to worry about it. If anything, we were okay without it. He goes to the kitchen and back and told us it’ll “be right out.”
