Picked up the wet asada combo. Enchilada sauce made a basic burrito taste pretty good. Not sure I could go back though. The beans were really watered down and lacked seasoning while the rice was also plain and basic. The portion was good, left feeling really full. The chips we got were stale on this visit. The house hot salsa was good while the mild green salsa was really lacking any flavour. Overall I found the food here too be okay

3 taco combo and drink for $20. Nice location with friendly service. The chicken taco was my favorite, next beef, and finally carnitas. The carnitas was on the dry side. Rice and beans were tasty. Overall, great lunch spot and I would return

I’ve been to all three of Alejandro’s Mexican food joints, and I’ve gotta be honest, the one at Pearl-Ridge, Hawaii didn’t impress me. While the employees were friendly, the food itself was a letdown. It lacked any real flavor – it was like eating a plain sandwich. The beans and rice were boring, and I suspect they used canned beans instead of cooking them fresh.

Decent little spot for some Mexican food, I had the 12″ wet burrito. The owner came out and was upbeat and positive. Good atmosphere whether you want to sit inside or outside in a small area. The rice and beans were good. I’ve only been here 2 times but I will be back to try the other items on the menu.

I ordered the Carne Asada Nachos, beans and nacho cheese on the side. It was kind of a disappointment. Shredded cheese wasn’t melted. Lite on carne asada. Got avocado slices expecting guacamole. On picture is what I got, the other is what I was expecting. On the bright side, I wasn’t stuffed into a food coma. And what I had did taste good. I think the burritos might be better.

First the good: Service was very fast. I made an online order (I live in Aiea), then immediately drove to Alejandros at the Pearl City Shopping Center (old Ezogiku location). When I arrived, my order was ready. The online ordering system does not allow for a pickup time. That should be improved. The beans and rice in the burrito plate did not have much taste, but the carnitas burrito was pretty good. The asada tacos were disappointing. The steak was dry and rather tough. However, I liked the carnitas taco. The carnitas was moist and flavorful. Overall, a mixed bag. Fast ordering that needs to allow you to specify your pickup time. Stay away from the steak, beans and rice. The carnitas are pretty good.

Having to grow up/ raised in Socal and have tasted authentic Mexican street tacos, my tastebuds have high expectations. Alejandro’s is our go-to spot if we ever crave street tacos and it never disappoint. If you’re looking for a fancy schmancy Mexican eatery, don’t come here. The tacos are served on a paper plate, and you sit on patio chairs. But that just adds to the authenticy of it. The best taco places to eat in SoCal are not in a restaurant, but it’s at the hole-in-the-wall, mom n pop restaurant or those taco trucks by the sidewalk. The tacos are always on point and always hits the spot. And the servers are always friendly and will know you by name if you come often enough.

There wet burrito combo plate was good. Delicious sauce and the burrito with the side of beans and rice was ok. The horchata was also good. The interior dining area was cool with decorative Latin-American items.

This place is pretty decent and fairly priced. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, the environment is very clean, and the workers are very attentive to their customers. The food is very delicious and fresh and you get a lot of meat on your taco! Definitely recommend trying! 100%
