I wanted to love the food but it was really just okay. There wasn’t much flavor to anything. The chicken was hard, Beef was decent but again, no flavor. The sauce had zero flavor. For about $20 per person, I’ll pass. The people there are very nice and the restaraunt is clean. I hope I just came in an off day because it seems like a fantastic place. With the outstanding Mediterranean food we have in the city, this one’s going to need to up their game.

I am Persian and I can be tough when it comes to Kebab. This place has one of the best Persian kebabs in US (yeah you heard it right) I’ve been living here for 4 years. What surprised me the most was that they used Persian rice which has a really good quality. The manager Hamid is very welcoming and nice. I think the price is fair I paid only $20 for rice and Kebabs, yogurt drink, yogurt and cucumber, and Persian salad. And each serving is sufficient for 2 people so you basically pay $10 for a meal. The Kebab cuisine is Persian and the spices were just perfect.

I always went to the Norman Greek restaurant but it has changed so ventured into Alexandria and now I get my Greek meal on a plate served so nicely and our meals have been really delicious each time we go there.

Ordered the chicken gyro platter. What was brought to my table did not resemble s gyro. The chicken meat was yellow, tasteless and chewed like leather. I asked the lady who took the order and bought it to my table if this was a gyro platter. She looked at it and confirmed that it was. I took s few bites and left. This was my first visit to this restaurant. Very disappointed.

This place has great baklava. For this being a brand new restaurant it wasn’t bad at all and I believe that it has a very high potential of being one of Moore’s better Mediterranean restaurants. The only complaint I would have is the rice lacking flavor and it being dry, sometimes crunchy. I believe all of their food is homemade and the atmosphere in the dining area is great.

I ordered a Gyro Sandwich and it came with a side. I asked for the Greek Salad. The salad was on a small plate which is more than what I consider a side dish. The gyro was really good. Good and filling portions for the price. Good service and there are interesting murals inside.

I’m surprised to see other customer saying it’s friendly service while I had different experience. I went there for the first time and the woman who worked there wasn’t friendly and kept staring at me like I wasn’t welcome there. My boyfriend and I are deaf and we use sign language and we were discussing what kind of food we want to order but the woman kept staring at us in mean way like she didn’t want us to be there so we felt uncomfortable and left. You are supposed to make customers especially customers with disabilities feel welcome but that wasn’t the case so I will never come back!!!

12-1-21: First time to visit Alexandria Mediterranean restaurant. The staff was very friendly and took time to talk about the various options and came to check on us while eating several times. My wife got the gyro platter with fries and the Greek salad and I got the kabob platter with rice and tabouli. They both came with delicious warm pita bread cut in quarters. We both liked our salads and sides. The tabouli was very fresh and tasted great. While the kabob was good we thought the gyro meat was excellent and would definitely recommend it. There was move than enough food to take home half of our meals for leftovers. We split a dessert, chocolate Oreo roll cake. It was good, maybe a little dry for our liking but still good. The unsweet tea was fresh, with good flavor, not watered down like some places. We will definitely be back to Alexandria soon.

Greek salad and baklava were both great! Not my favorite hummus but definitely recommend the beef kabob – so flavorful.
