Alex’s Gyros is an unassuming halal restaurant located on a busy stretch of East Colonial Drive. It doesn’t give off the best first impression, but the food is great. The wings were cooked perfectly and were flavorful. The philly sandwich was also delicious with the meat being piled high on a fresh hoagie roll. The only downside was the liquid cheese, which was too runny and didn’t have much flavor.

Best cheesesteaks in Orlando. Whether you want just steak and cheese or with toppings, it’s all a win. Foods come out fresh and hot at a justified price! Our family was surprised with how slow the place was for a Wednesday night. You order at the counter and the service is fast and polite! I recommend for lunch breaks, causal dining, and to gos!

Philly Cheesesteak Combo tasted pretty good. Just wasnt a fan of the nacho cheese. Bit excessive with it. Maybe someone else would like it. Just not for me. Overall for the price pretty good deal. Comes with full Philly, fries and a drink. Would I eat here again. Probably.

One of the best Philly Cheese Steaks I’ve had in Orlando. The bread was super soft and meat was juicy and tender. The restaurant is a little messy though and you can definitely tell it’s old and runned down. The food takes a while to come out but that’s probably because they only have 2 people working there and one is really old. It’s really fresh though because you can see them cook it right in front of you. I see a lot of locals there so it’s pretty popular around the area.

Went here with my friend today and the food was amazing. The Lamb Gyro was tender, sauce was amazing and the fries were the perfect amount of crispy. The lunch special is the way to go and the staff was extremely friendly. Will be visiting again soon.

Quite possibly the best cheesesteak in town. The pictures speak for themselves. Don’t sleep on these cheesesteaks. Try the mix Philly (gyro + beef). The gyro meat is also amazing, ask for it extra crispy with some more white sauce on the side.
