Take out. Excellent Very freshest rolled tacos, street tacos and veggie burrito. Chips were great! (Not still cooking in container and turning brown.) Tortilla chips were absolutely perfect. Freshest rolled tacos. Not dried out, hard, tough. We loved everything.

Got take out last evening. This is hands down the_worst Mexican food I have ever (tried) to eat. Cheese is plastic, taco shell & meat inside = inedible. The most basic things they don’t do well (a #1 combo comprised of a “cheese” enchilada and a beef taco, with sides of rice & beans). How can this place be a chain ?!? There is more than 1 location ? It is a puzzle to me how Alfonso’s can stay in business given the quality of food they are dishing out.

Didn’t expect to get good Mexican food in Maine. Pleasantly surprised. When entering, the background music was excessively loud and I’m hard of hearing. I asked the waiter to turn it down which he did promptly. I appreciated that.

The food is great aways fresh tunes of flavor and not horribly expensive .. give it 4 stars because I feel like sometimes when I make a special order they purposely don’t make it the way I ask I have even said the last 3 time I ordered it didn’t have what I ordered please make sure it has it I get home and NOPE !!!
