So the food overall was good, but everything was consistently a little on the cooked too long side. The garlic knots were great except for the bottom, the spaghetti bake I loved the flavor but where the spaghetti didn’t get covered by sauce or cheese it was hard and inedible. My wife’s pizza had sausage on it though she requested it left off. We went on a very busy night at rush and they had signage looking for help. Everyone has an off night. So we’ll be back for sure. Great atmosphere, and great service from our waitress though I forget her name.

Food was piping hot and fresh. None of the 3 in my party had a single complaint. Service was also great. We dined in at lunch on a Tuesday and didn’t have a wait time. Were just passing through the area, but will definitely come back again.

I absolutely love eating lunch at Alfonso’s. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is cozy. I ordered the Beef Ravioli for lunch and just to show how much I enjoyed it. I added a before and after.

Prices were good and our food came out reasonably quickly. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu and it was awful. I only ate one bite. It was nothing like the traditional dish. The breading on the chicken was soggy and the meat was dry and tough; it tasted like it was several days old leftovers and microwaved to be put on the dish. The pasta was good but waaaay too much cheese/sauce. I guess I should have ordered the pizza. But this dish shouldn’t even be on the menu served the way it was tonight.

I had the meatball float and the meat was still pink and cool in the middle of 2 of the three meatballs. The service was amazing. Everyone was extremely nice. Great atmosphere, just not my cup of tea. In all fairness, I did not send the food back so the staff was unaware.

Food was great. Staff seemed a little bit tired, and stressed. Nothing bad about them, just maybe they were having a bad day. They were polite and professional, just no smiles. I have worked in the industry and others serving the public, if you don’t smile, it kinda puts the customer in defense mode to begin with. Some of us tried as a group, to be very friendly, courteous and respectful to them, still never a smile. I get it, it’s a tough job, and people can be terrible, but no one in our group was like that. I assure you, had the smiles been there the tip would have been more than what was put on our ticket, because we all are generous with tips.

Best Italian food in Decatur by far. The stuffed pasta dishes and pizza are great. Everyone in our family likes to eat here. For me, the great mixed drink, wine and beer selections really top off the whole dining experience. I wish the new location was a bit bigger, but the overall atmosphere is good.

This place is a BIG ripoff. I order the garlic knots which are pretty good they’re kinda small especially for the price only 4 come out. I also had ordered the Ziti, the pasta was undercooked, the bread with it was ice cold they couldn’t even heat it up before bringing it out??? It’s the most overpriced place I’ve ever eaten especially for the quality of the food. Our silverware was dirty as well as our plates for the appetizers. EXTREMELY overpriced, the only thing I would even recommend from here is the pizza which is also overpriced and the dessert. The dessert was delicious. I never received a refill for my lemonade. If you want good food that will actually fill you up and leave with leftovers for the same price, go to Ninja. This place costs just as much as Ninja with about 1/3 of the portion and much less quality of food.
