We usually really enjoy the food but it has been really inconsistent lately. I was disappointed my breakfast burrito was missing cheese and was haphazardly put together and not wrapped. That made it come all the way apart in the bag.

Hands down the best burrito around, the amount of food you get for what you pay is crazy. I eat a lot and I struggled a little . I got the “angry poncho”, I asked for no guacamole and added beans and rice to make it perfect for me, absolutely delicious. Wife got some nachos and she too was very content with them.

The food was good, (not any better than anywhere else but more affordable). Very clean. Portions are HUGE.

I love alfonsos soo much !!! You get so much for moderate prices.. best burritos, and the Carne asada fries with cilantro and onion are to die for !!! I recommend alfonsos to anyone who will listen lol. The home made hot sauce and salsa are amazing.

If you are in the Frankfort area and haven’t tried Alfonso’s yet, make it your next stop for Mexican food. Located in an out of the way spot, this clean and inviting little gem is a welcome addition to the Frankfort restaurant scene. Having enjoyed their Versailles location for some time, we were saddened by their recent closing. It took us some time to find our way to the capital city location, but it is now a favorite place to eat whenever we’re in the area.

More than ample servings and the food is very reasonably priced. The food is made fresh and is very flavorful. Facilities are clean and the staff are very friendly and kind.

The drive-through would be your best bet. The food is good and for what you pay, you get a lot, but the inside isn’t very well kept and it was freezing in there when I sat down to eat, so get it to go. Also, I wished they offered a choice of flour tortillas, the corn ones they only use get soggy if you dont eat your food right away

I honestly have to say, I had low expectations for this place due to its location. It’s “out of the way” for me. And the building gives the appearance of being rundown.

If you haven’t tried Alfonso’s you need to. Great quality food and actual real meat not the mushy ground beef. Portions are HUGE! The pictures do not do them justice. We ordered the Crazy fries after eating over half of them we took a big to go box home.
