The food is amazing and the staff is quick, friendly and polite. it’s always packed, but rarely more then a 10 minute wait and never more than 30 unless you just missed the dinner doors opening and the tables just filled up. never happened to me personally. Their bread and olives are a good reason just to go.

When I say I’m a tagliatelle bolognese aficionado I’m not kidding. I’ve had it darn near everywhere, but last evening I took my wife out for her birthday dinner at Alforno, and I can honestly say it was the BEST I’ve had. In fact everything was terrific, from the service to the reasonably priced wine to the appetizers to our main course. We’ve always wanted to eat here but for some reason never made it. That’s why last night was such a treat.

Awesome place. Love the family vibe yet metro feel. Food is outstanding. Service has always been top notch. Small restaurant so it’s a bit tight ( NY style), and sometimes hard to get a table.

Overall not a terrible experience. The hostess was a bit scattered. She was more concerned with talking to people than sitting us, but our waitress was great and when I found something in my food (small piece of metal maybe a staple?) She offered a new one and when I declined they also removed my beverage from the bill. The food however was good and I would eat there again.

We have been going to Alforno for years during our vacation on the shoreline. We always got one of the entrees. This was the first time we had their Pizza. It was OUTSTANDING!!! Looking forward to the next Pizza.

Excellent food and service. Top notch concise menu prepared with loving attention. We always have a great time here. Pasta is home made by the way. Check out the key lime pie and Tuscan bean soup. Five stars.

We have tried every Italian sounding named restaurant up and down the coast trying to find something better than better than average pizza and this is the best by far. The authentic Italian food, hand made pasta, incredible service and amazing pizza put Algorno easily above all others. Do yourself a favor and get the Bolognese.

Wonderful inventive twists on Italian cuisine as well as many traditional dishes with an “Al Fornoxtwist.” We loved everything we ate from bread to cocktails to an amazing dessert special. Service was friendly personal and attentive. A don’t miss experience. Prices are reasonable, especially considering what you get. We will be back.
