Left Albuquerque on our way to CO & made a quick breakfast stop. Had to swing by after reading 2 nasty comments & the superb response by the owner! Everything was super amazing. The bagels were just made so super soft even with being toasted! Eggs/cheese & sausage made it even better! There is nothing here to hate or be disappointed! Thanks for our wonderful breakfast-coffee was good too!

This my husband and I’s first time here and WOW. I’ve been craving a good sandwich for a long time and this place really hit the spot! It’s so good! We ordered a Rueben & Chicken Parm. Seriously some of the best sandwiches we have ever had! Plus the customer service is incredible! Can’t wait to come back.

Great bagel place. Hard to find. Probably the best obscure breakfast sandwhiches in Rio Rancho. The bagels are freshly made new every day. Staff was very friendly and welcomed us, seating area is limited but very cosy. I ordered a green chilie bagel with egg and bacon and man was it goooood. Military discount provided. Bathroom is hidden but kept very clean. **Update** I ordered a Turkey Bomb sandwhich and it was amazing, and it came with some kettle cooked chips which where delicious. My girlfriend ordered the southwest panini and it was good. Will definetly be ordering again.

I have been here only twice. First time was fine the second was different. I got the same thing both times a bagel double toasted with cream cheese. I open my bagel which had no cream cheese and was burnt. I understand I ordered it double toasted but there a difference between double toasted a burnt. Also the first time they put my cream cheese on my bagel. If I wanted to put cream cheese on my own bagel I’d literally go to the store buy bagels and cream cheese. She tried to explain that the cheese cheese wouldn’t be “thick” if they thought that they should have let me know when I ordered. I also got a another bagel with eggs and other toppings they fried the egg, over cooked it then put it on the bagel. I have never been to a bagel shop where they put a fried egg when I didn’t ask for one. Let alone a over cooked one, maybe this is just how they do it but I would have liked to at least been asked how I want my eggs and not just assume because I absolutely hate over cooked eggs so there wasn’t even a point of me getting a egg because I just took it off. I also went in to get more cream cheese because they didn’t give a lot on the side and it cost 1.26. I gave her two dollars and the cashier gave me less then 25 cents back. Hmm that makes sense, right? I didn’t even correct her because I was so upset and couldn’t deal with them anymore. I just think if they are going to make the same over order multiple times they should make it the same or let me know they made it differently. It is also kind of unsanitary in there and dirty everything looks old. They need to communicate more with customers when it comes to what they are ordering instead of doing whatever they want and not telling anyone. “The Bagel” would never. Also the way they seem to handle criticism seems harsh, so have at it.

The food was amazing, bar none, but that fell second to the customer service. We showed up at 9:45 not realizing that was when the restaurant closes to prep for lunch, and we were still served with no issue. The owner was so kind and made some of the most delicious food we have had since living in Albuquerque. Having lived on the East coast and having eaten in many New York delis, this was absolutely on par with NYC experience. 10/10 recommend!

I haven’t been here since we moved to Albuquerque two years ago (like before our furniture arrived). I honestly just travel a lot and forgot this is where I had the amazing Cubano. I love places like this. Small footprint, great customer service, amazing food. Don’t forget the homemade desserts! It’s a gem of a place. I definitely will be coming back more often now that I will travel less.
