Had early dinner today at this restaurant (it’s our first time) and was very disappointed. The food was just ok, mostly bland and lacking in flavor compared to most of the Mexican restaurants we’ve patronized. The menu price for a wet burrito was $15.99 but when the bill came, it was $16.63 — it’s not about the $0.64 difference but clearly, this should’ve been made clear that the menu price isn’t right. And yes, they charged separately for taxes — the $16.63 price didn’t include the tax.

Dined here tonight. The food was delicious, food came to our table quickly and 2 male servers that helped us were so kind and accommodating. We ordered the shrimp tostada, fried tilapia plate, and an asada taco with rice and beans. All were super yummy and I loved the green avocado/cilantro salsa that they bring to the table

Service was great! Staff was considerate and friendly. The regular carne azada (menu spelling) burrito came with meat, refried beans, rice and cheese. It was decent size. The meat was just ok. The side of salsa was appreciated. No chips were served with my to go order. For the money, there are better burrito options very close by.

I loved this place when it was Jaffa Cafe !!! … This Mariscos La Piedad lost me as soon as they said they charge $1.99 for a refill – call me cheap or judge me how you see fit but I’ve NEVER been charged for a refill unless it was a Specialty Drink or something like that.
