Went to Alkemē Saturday and was impressed. The service, food, and atmosphere were all great! Every dish was good– recommend ordering the eggplant and the chicken together if you order either one. Drinks were also good– sake flight was great, my partner said the margarita was one of the better he’s had in Santa Fe out of at least 50 places, and our friend loved the interesting drink with the fish sauce in it (don’t remember the name). The tuna poke was fantastic as were the Korean BBQ “sliders”. Papaya salad was fresh, creative, and perfect with the protein-based small dishes. We ordered four small dishes and two large for three people and it was perfect. Seating closer to the back of the restaurant is more dramatic, dim, and “romantic”, while seating closer to the front is brighter and cheerful (i.e. the back was more like romantic date or anniversary while the front was more like first date or dinner with friends).

Delightful dinner. We had two of the tasting menus. The vegan in our party was totally taken with menu #3 — real vegan dishes, not just tweaked regular recipes. Menu #1, with rack of lamb as the main, was inventive and tasty. Highly recommend visiting!

We were there about two weeks ago and it was one of the most memorable experiences. Yes, this new establishment is pricey, specially for Asian cuisine. I would recommend you to give it a try and judge it yourself.

So enjoyed this new Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Korean and Pacific Rim innovative restaurant in Santa Fe. Delicious food, excellent service in a comfortable setting. I began with a fantastic Daiquiri (with a twist), followed by a plate of Vietnamese street skewers while my friend had the Vietnamese savory donut with Korean BBQ beef. Both were wonderful, fresh and flavorful. They have an extensive menu with many gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. Will return soon!

About time for some elevated Taiwanese fusion in Santa Fe. The turmeric fish and 3 cup chicken were delicious. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Absolutely phenomenal new restaurant in Santa Fe. Make a reservation (if possible). Get cocktails and a few of the “amuse” starters to snack on and awake your appetite as you sip their delicious, unique cocktails. Order many plates to share, and also order a main dish you will keep entirely for yourself. Have a great bottle of not-too-pricey wine. Have one of their delectable desserts and a Vietnamese coffee. You cannot find cuisine like this in Santa Fe.

Awesome Asian fusion! We had the tasting menus which consisted of a lot of thoughtful foods that were really, really good. We enjoyed all of it, good cocktails, food, service, people watching. Convenient to walk to from just about anywhere close to the plaza. Highly recommend.

Cannot believe this place has only been open 20 days. The food and service were excellent – every dish had nuanced and thoughtful flavors. The cocktails were balanced with interest.
