First off, this was at the hop fest in Moxee so maybe that changes things. But the food was absolutely awful. The half chicken was dry and the sauce it was covered in was watery and bland. The Mac and cheese was way over cooked so the noodles were soggy and falling apart while the cheese had curdled and was in giant clumps. Lastly, the peach cobbler was melted and basically turned into a soup with no crunch or texture. I had been waiting to try this food for a long time, but I ended up just leaving it at my cousin’s house and he didn’t even want the leftovers. Definitely never going back. Oh, and it was $35 just for those 3 items, and the owner was super rude to her employee in front of everyone for trying to man 2 registers even though it was just him.

I was blown away by how good everything was. Meat was so tender and full of smoky flavor. Mac and collards were delicious. Definitely gonna make sure I visit again if I’m ever in Yakima to try more items on their menu.

Miz Dee’s is phenomenal! I didn’t realize that she was closed until after I called for a special request birthday rib dinner, yet she accommodated! Very hospitable, very charming. The beef ribs were fantastic and should not be missed! The baked beans are delicious, as is the potato salad. If you don’t head there for fantastic ribs, that’s just more for us.

We stopped here on a whim while driving through on our way back home. Glad we did! My partner got pulled pork sandwich and mac and cheese. He had the leftovers today and asked if we can go back and get more (3 hour drive away) . Definitely worth a stop!

We had Miz Dee Cater our event for the Sisters On The Fly get together in Union Gap, WA. The food was delicious!. Loved everything! They did an amazing job. I would highly recommend them!!!

I’ve eaten a lot of BBQ all over the place… Texas, Tennessee, KC, St. Louis, the Carolinas… at some pretty well-known joints… And I have never had ribs as tender and tasty as Miz Dee’s! A really special experience, which I hope to repeat next time I’m in Yakima. Try the jambalaya… out of this world! You can taste the LOVE in Miz Dee’s food.
