After reading the reviews, I decided to try this place. I was the only customer there on a Saturday around noon. (Btw, the Saturday hours posted on Google are not correct). I ordered ribs, greens, and Mac and cheese. The ribs were okay. They were very tender, but the flavor was lacking. They almost seemed like lightly seasoned baked ribs, but I could be wrong. The macaroni and cheese was dry and bland. The greens were bland also. I’d be willing to try them one more time. Hopefully, I just caught them on an off day. The service and atmosphere were great!

This is an amazing and delicious Black-owned Southern BBQ restaurant. One of the owners welcomed me and thoroughly explained the menu because it was my first time. She was super sweet and hospitable. The pork ribs taste divine and fall of the bone. The baked beans had ground beef and were also delicious. I haven’t tried everything yet but will definitely be finishing the plate tonight.

Food was amazing! Drove down from ATL and it was definitely worth the drive! The meat was falling off of the rib bones! Great customer service. Took three more plates to-go. I’ll definitely be returning.

My family and I went for lunch. The restaurant was very pungent with Clorox but they had a nice decor, very simple and homey. We ordered 3 lg plates. 2 of us had the chopped pork bbq and 1 had the ribs. The chopped pork was awful, it had no flavor and was watered down. The ribs were okay. We had yams that were over flavored. The mac and cheese was nothing but over cooked noodles. The potato salad was okay. The baked beans were excellent.

Where do I start? I wanted some BBQ and found this place on line. The BBQ is good alone with the sauce. But the sides are the stars of the show. They have a sweet potato cobbler that will set your spirit right. The black eyed peas (shaking my head), I forgot the cornbread but they can stand on there own. The potato salad was good. My daughter loved her Mac and cheese with collard greens. I will be back more than I should. This is the best spot for soul food in Auburn!!!!! Closed on Sundays
