All Purpose is a reliable good time. Enjoy the outdoor patio and people watching. Table shared several salads and pizzas, which were all delicious. Service was good, but I could do without the “we”…how are we doing? Do we want another round?

When you get your check they will tell you for the first time that there is a 20% Service Charge!?!?!? And she could tell me why… That’s not good business practice. Pay your employees correctly and charge the price on your menus – not extraneous charges.

Apps are great. Service is very intermittent. Our food was delivered and no one came by. Which was pretty much how the evening was already shaping up. I had to flag someone down for salt, pepper, cheese. Not to mention, the jersey eggplant was all cheese and very little eggplant. A barely touched it. And the waiter finally comes at the end after we flag him for our check and asks me if he can box it. ‍♀️Service needs a lot of work.

I throughly enjoyed my meal and my view during my dinner. I had the Sedgwick and a chocolate chip cookie. My waitress was so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend All Purpose Pizza to anyone looking for a craft pizza in a relaxing and beautiful location.

It’s just an overpriced place with a less than mediocre pizza and a bad pasta. We had a few pizzas and all of them had too much sauce for the dough thickness so they were just soggy. Pasta dishes were overcooked, so no al dented for us and I guess the worst part was that it seemed like they cut the pasta different sizes making it impossible to eat it properly.

Met some friends for dinner. Get there before 7 to take advantage of happy hour where pizzas are only $10!! (Plus toppings). We also got the cauliflower which was divine and the calamari which was just okay…. Would have preferred lemon wedges over the lemon aioli. We sat outside and they were kind enough to give me some bug spray after I got attacked by mosquitoes. They have a ton of tables that allow you to enjoy the weather and the view.

Garlic knots – not your traditional garlic knots but we’re very delicious. The were soft, light and baked to perfection. The garlic cream paired perfectly with the bread.

Outstanding in its average-ness. The service on Sunday morning was below average but the outside seating took some of the sting away. The crowd pleaser: pizza is ordered by everyone but my favorite part of the menu are the seasonal small plates, such as the peaches with cheese and toasted almonds, a very chef-y dish.

DC prices. Great atmosphere, including the waterfront, visuals and new bridge that was beautiful. The hostess was one of the best and warm in spirit. We were dressed well and we were served without question even though we were late for our reservation. Parking might’ve been a little bit difficult today but it’s because it was a popular day.

A perfect mommy and son date consist of wood fire pizza and salad @allpurposedc down by the water in one of our favorite parts of DC, Yards Park. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. Even the boys complimented them on how well they were taking care of us.
