This place is a small hole I’m the wall but pet me tell you, it was a diamond in the rough. They completely remodeled their interior and it is absolutely awesome with classic cars and beautiful tables and chairs. I had the carnitas tacos and they were absolutely amazing. The meat was so tender and juicy and flavorful. I got mine on the hard shell because I’m not one for corn tortillas when they aren’t fried. The serving size was very fair for what you pay although the prices have went up since we’ve lived here with inflation going up but it is definitely worth it. The service is awesome and the people are very sweet that work there. They are accommodating and welcoming and it is all around a wonderful place to go. It is also awesome for kids but they do not offer a kids menu. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food that is absolutely delicious this is definitely the best place in my opinion in desert Hot Springs. Get out and try it and take your whole family because it’s worth it.

Ordered biscuits & gravy. Biscuits were so hard…couldn’t eat them. Gravy was bland also maybe 2 tablespoons of gravy at best. Called to complain ..was told to come back for new meal or refund. No credit given unless used by next business day. We take out there at least 2 times a month. I will never eat there again.

I asked for a custom sandwich, a BLT with no bacon, add cheese and onions, and they made it for me no problem! I also got the zucchini sticks and they were awesome! Nice and crunchy on the outside and warm zucchini with good flavor on the inside along with a side of ranch. Everything was really good and the people were very nice too. They have a pretty extensive menu including burgers, Mexican food, all kinds of salads (even a Greek salad), and breakfast food. The dining room was big and clean and nice and cool inside too. I will definitely be back again. Thanks for the great food and service!!

9.24.21 @11am dined in for 2 when road washed out. We ordered (1) steak, eggs, hashbrowns, toast; and (2) bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, toast. We enjoyed both meals and staff was nice. My only complaint is that the steak was overcooked.

Nice large menu 1st time there. Old school decor nice that they add free corn chips if you eat in. Great mild salsa reminds me of Campos burritos in Los Angeles California reasonably price for what you get. Cx

I am vegan/vegetarian. Got a burrito but they do not have whole beans. Otherwise the burrito was very good. My wife had the cheeseburger and fries. Cheeseburger was very greasy but they wrapped well so it was not drippy. The fries were very good. Overall OK and we would go back.

First impressions are very important. And I was not very impressed with the new dhs location. How can I put this softly. The girl behind the counter made my experience one of the worst I have ever had. How can this establishment allow sick people to work around food and people. The whole time we were placing our order it was cough after cough. Not once did she stop what she was doing to wash her hands. She took 2 orders while the cough was getting worse. That made me lose my appetite. While the other girl got our order all wrong I sat down and I can hear them all complain. That’s really isn’t an issue. My main issue that I hope the owner can address is the sick girl working. But for now not a good first impression

Food is good for sure. Prices are super high though. The prices look good from the menu until you find out those aren’t combo prices but entree only. By the time you add fries and a drink it’s a bit too much. Also no kids menu which is frustrating as my 2 year old can’t eat a the full sized meal… $45 for my 2 year old and myself, before tip. But I guess you pay for convenience considering it’s the only restaurant in the area without driving all they way to DHS.
