Outstanding seafood! Not only is the staff wonderful and friendly, the food is worth driving for. We come from Portsmouth just to eat here! It feels like home. You can’t go wrong with the fried pollock. Best fish & chips around. The portions are huge so if you leave hungry, you did something wrong. Make sure you try their she crab soup! You can’t go wrong with any of it!

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday night and were so surprised to see how empty it was— as good as the food is here it should be packed! I forgot to get pictures of the food, but I had the seafood combo with flounder and scallops, both fried. The portions were big and the food was absolutely delicious! The waitstaff was awesome and attentive! The restaurant is a bit off of the main downtown strip, but it’s worth walking an extra block or so. Will definitely be back!

I am so glad I found this restaurant! Where do I start? The servers were excellent. Pork rinds were brought out (rather than cornbread or biscuits you might get at other places)! Other than that, the food was excellent! I had She Crab Soup, fried oysters, salad and a baked potato. Others in my party had stuffed flounder, stuffed salmon, barbecue ribs and a wonderfully fresh salad with steak and mandarin oranges. The portions of everything were hefty and we brought food home.

Warmly greeted by several people upon entering. The restaurant is open, bright, & clean. The booths are comfy & aesthetically partitioned for privacy. My waitress was going to be an extra minute running food, so the owner grabbed my drink & app order. The honey jalapeño cornbread is delicious! Perfect balance of sweet & spicy. Shannon’s Avocado Cesar Salad was beautiful. The oysters were huge & perfectly fried, lightly breaded. The portions were very generous & well worth the price. Lemon cake (to go because I didn’t finish my lunch) was like something from my great-grandmother’s kitchen. The owner made rounds checking on everyone & helping her waitresses. I always love a hands-on owner who takes pride in ensuring happy customers! My waitress was friendly & everyone I passed on my way in & out smiled & spoke. So glad to have Allecious downtown! The menu is varied enough to accommodate the variety of diets in my family & this will be somewhere we frequent regularly.
