Alley Cat Cafe is a local hangout for Pontiac & the surrounding communities. Our cafe is back open during the day offering all coffee drinks and lunch items, while our dinner menu offers a wide variety of options. From our fresh catch of the day, lamb chops, a variety of sliders, salads, and homemade soups, we do our best to accommodate our guests wishes. We also have a full bar with 16 beers on tap.
CAFE- Monday-Saturday, 8am-3pm.
DINING ROOM Tuesday-Saturday, 5pm-10pm with the bar open later

Nice cafe and bar to check out. I was looking for a cafe around and got confused when I entered it was a bar so i just drank. Later i realized there’s a stairway to the lower ground where the cafe is at. The comfort room has cat cool designs and u can draw on the walls with the chalks provided. Drinks are good.

Checked out this restaurant with some friends and had an okay time. Started off with the Moroccan carrots and had the Lamb chops and tortellini entrees. The Lamb had some good flavor, although we were asked what temperature we would like and even though we requested medium, it came out Well. This was for all Lamb entrees at the table. It could have used a few more potatoes or veggies as they seemed a bit lacking and a little more sides would have been nice. Mushrooms with the tortellini had the flavor there, portion could be better.

We hosted a 40th birthday party at the alley cat cafe. First, the space is gorgeous, doesn’t need much decor. Romantic, intimate vibes. The food was solid. There wasn’t anything we disliked. Standout food included the lamb chops, shrimp and sausage app and the Mediterranean plate. Thank you to Cate and her team. They were awesome and so easy to work with!! Highly recommend

The owner came to talk to us, always a plus in my book. The staff was wonderful. The food very delicious and served beautifully. Our bartender recommended a fun music venue up the street. We’ll definitely return. Come on Pontiac keep up the positives.

Alley Cat is a one of a kind of establishment. It’s a hidden gem that everyone needs to know about. Recently I had their lamb chops, and dear God, were they amazing. Tried Alley Cat Cafe for the first time on New Year’s Eve, and it was fantastic! They had a special menu in addition to their standard menu, and my husband and I ordered the surf and turf off of the special menu. It was excellent. The portion was perfect (two size options for the surf and turf), and the filet was prepared exactly as requested. Definitely will go back to try something off of their standard menu. The location is close to home, the chef definitely knows how to cook, and the ambience of the cafe is warm and welcoming!
